    Home-made popsicles
The question: what to make them from?

I have tried a number of things. There are a couple of juices I like to drink so I tried them. One is Fruitopia Strawberry Passion Awareness. The other is an Orange-Banana-Strawberry blend (Tropicana, I think). Very good drinks - but I found that they come out a bit too subtle as popsicles. Popsicles need more zing than a beverage.

So I bought the frozen concentrate but added less water than you're supposed to. That is better but still, I feel like there is room for improvement in my popsicle life.

I have tried some other Fruit punches and Tropical Blends with varying levels of success. Anyway, my question is simple. Do we have any experts on home-made popsicles who can steer me in the right direction?

I'll try it. Maybe I am too fancy shmancy in my thinking and I just need good old kool-aid.

lol, got to love some of the suggestions so far..

Honestly, I think your best bet is to just use any regular old juice you like and as little water as possible if you want them really sweet. Not sure a whole lot can be done beyond that.

                      Not a big Kool-Aid fan.

The problem is I have grown accustomed to some pretty deluxe store-bought popsicles. Like some of them had hunks of real fruit in them and the whole bit. Gourmet popsicles. But I recently realized I was spending as much on popsicles every month as car insurance. I'm not a cheapskate but that seemed like too much being spent on popsicles. A change seemed in order.

I am trying to adjust gracefully.

Damn. S'not like you're living in popsicle-friendly weather either.

Hate to say it Muddy, but I think you got a problem. I'm here if you need to talk.

It's not really that many popsicles. It's only like 6 a day.

I told myself I could control it but it got the better of me. I told myself I would only eat them until the end of baseball season - but by then football had started so I couldn't stop then. I need my popsicles while I'm watching football. But I'll definitely quit at the end of football season.

Well okay, maybe it's a bit more than 6 a day.
