Check with Mike Corbin Electric or Joey Slats Fencing. They may be able to help.

Mattis, mostly just plumbers here. Plumbers love to gamble. Mostly unemployed, college students, retired.

CMattis, i used to be an iron worker.. Steel rigging, so i know a good bit about welding.. My father owns a steel rigging company and i helped out starting when i was in high school.. He taught me to weld starting at age 14.. Stick, mig, tig, i can do it all.. I gave up the family business for my own career choice.. I'm sure i could answer any question you may have.. However, why would I?. This thread may be a waste of time filled with lies like your other threads..

Worked with a welder a long time ago. Most welders don't have what you would call a 'sunny disposition'.

I'm just getting to the point where I need to start looking for jobs. I received my D1.1 certification in vertical and overhead but have expired since I don't have a job in welding and they don't consider school as a job. Alot of the jobs I look at require some type of job experience such as 3 years. What do I do in this case? Every job I look for requires experience. Do I apply anyways?

Seriously Mattis. You might try to look for something that may require you to know some welding but not primarily welding. Some employers would welcome someone that can weld as part of the package.

Yes, I realize that. Just need to get some sort of job experience under my belt. But where do I look to, or what type of jobs should I aim for?
