    VIP.com Rules Question
I have the Cubs and they just scored in the top of 7th to tie the game 5-5. However, before their half inning ended, or the Phillies batted, the game was delayed for run.

The rules on VIP.com say the following:

    # Winners and losers are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4 1/2 innings.
    # If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called). Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended.

The second sentence makes me believe that I have a losing bet if the game gets called and its still tied 5-5 in the seventh?

Anyone able to offer me any insight. It seems as if the game is tied, and it would be a tie if the game ended in which case I would receive my money back?

    Thanks

I don't bet baseball so I'm not entirely sure, but I believe your bet is a loser (assuming they dont finish the game today) and that those are standard rules for any book.

It does not matter because play resumed, but had it not, the official final score for money line purposes would have been Phils 5, Cubs 1, which was the score after the last completed inning.
