Why would anyone deposit and bet at an offshore book that is not B+ or higher?
I go to the other major internet sports-betting boards and read about people who play at all of these random sportsbooks that happen to have D and F ratings here at SBR.

Why would anyone in their right mind play at these books? Is it that they don't know about SBR? Is it that they're getting a major bonus at the crap books?

    Please advise.

If everyone sticks with the top books, say B+ or higher, then all or most of these scam, crap books will get weeded out and the top books would get everyone, recreationals and sharps. So much money would be coming in that we'd rarely have to sweat payouts again!

Maybe it's just me in my utopian world, but I really hope and pray that ppl stop posting their cash with these crappy books who are so poorly rated and graded.

Playing at C, D, and F books is crazy! I'm even concerned about books that are only rated as B level books!

If all the players were forum readers, than the amount of players at low rated books would decrease ten-fold. But sadly only a minute amount of people who play actually know about these book ratings.

That's because those players that use books that are not B+ or better never tried to cash out or they just have no idea. During the Neteller era, you got paid from the shittiest books without any problems. Everyone will soon realize that times have changed.

Usually scammers and bonus guys will play at any books so they deserved to get fukked and stiffed.

Cobra, you're right. Not enough ppl glean the forums for great info. This is probably the best forum right here at SBR in terms of staying on top of things in the industry.

Bass, great point about so many recreationals that lost their cash and never had to experience getting a payout. They made those scam books rich, but the scam books are so greedy that they couldn't even pay the winning players out of the losers pot.

          Greed kills.

You are absolutely right, gridironguy. Everything would be just fine if everyone would play only at the top recommended sites.

I beleive that it's the attractive bonus and free money offered by the low rated gambling sites that attracts people to join them. As it is very hard in this world to find free money, my guess is that people think that : "oh wait, they're offering me a 200% match deposit bonus, why shouldn't take advantage of this?!"

Correct me if i'm wrong but i beleive that the top recommended online gambling sites doesn't offer such high bonus like the low rated gambling site. And there's certainly a reason for it.
                A well-established reputation, i would say.

I don't agree that people doesn't know about the ratings. They know it, they simply ignore them and try their luck.

there are a lot of good C and B books out there. you have to realize that while SBR is by far the best watchdog out there, they are not perfect, and a lot of books are under the radar. i do not play at any book lower than a B+ rating, so I see where you are coming from. the problem is that no one who starts gambling online knows about SBR. i used to play at bubbas casino, I think its a D or C rated, until it took them 3 months to pay me after i hit it big, that's how i found out about SBR. the truth is, any book with even a C rating is going to pay, they just may give you a hassle.

another thing to mention - just don't go by rating. look at bodog, they are A rated, yet they cant pay their players, not becuase of lack of funds, but becaues of processor problems because no one wants to deal with them. i think it's gonna be pretty funny when bodog goes down and everyone gets stiffed. people dont know when to leave.

And add a list to all the people who doesn't beleive a word of the rating made by sportsbookreview or any others gambling review sites.

Let's begin the movement to encourage ppl all over internet sports boards to only play at top-rated books!

In due time, ppl would get the message, the top-rated books will get richer, and they'll pay out the winners in a timely fashion with no run around..

Am I out of my mind here?

SBR isn't God. They've had their share of top books go under and there are C books that are good.

I see people that joined this forum a couple years ago posting all the time about their problems with D rated books (generally sportsbook.com and betus). I've been trying to get friends and colleagues to not play at these places for a while as well, with very limited success. Some people just aren't that smart, or they don't care.

Yes you are out of your mind only because it is an unrealistic goal. The best thing you can do I would think is to get these people to access SBR's sites and ratings. Even then, people play at B, C, and D books all the time and feel comfortable with them and have had positive experiences so it would be very difficult to change such things. Everyone has a threshhold of risk and everyone has to make their own decisions. I wouldn't worry too much about other's...worry more about your situatioin. If someone gets stiffed I feel bad don't get me wrong but ultimately I have to worry about myself.

I hear you Buddy Bear. If ppl wana play at sub-par, low-rated books, nothing can be done. I just think it's great to really promote the top-rated books because the books deserve it for earning their high ratings, and the players who win who play at said books will get paid more quickly with so much rec money in there.

If you are a losing bettor than has some intelligience you should play at low rated books. Sportbook will offer Golden St. +150 to score 1st in the 3rd quarter when they are shooting a technical coming out of halftime and they get ball after that and the line should be -800. Beating bad lines and hoping you get paid is smarter than losing at the high rated books.
