I kindof feel like the sucker just tying up the money for so long... Sadly I have a hard time passing up on a sure thing...

You've invested $450 and in all likelihood will have $550 in 2-3 years. If my math is correct, that's a 22% ROI. If someone told you they had a stock tip that was guaranteed to make you 22% in 3 years you'd probably be snapping it up. The other side of the coin is that if the world really does end, you're probably not going to care about the original $450 anyway. Congratulations on a good investment!

I say this prop was just so BM could get some extra funds (maybe for another investment, who knows.) And technically pay the 22% interest.
