ok, casinos give out comps, does the online sportsbooks give free stuff to their VIPs?

anyone who has experience free stuff for betting a lot on a site, please post your experience. i was reading the thread about mansion, someone said high volumn players get some free stuff in the mail....i think i might have misread it, but still curious if there are any sportsbooks out there actually give out comps.

Not sure...i would think they do provide comps in some way but it probably depends on your status. When I sucked at gambling it wasn't uncommon to find some extra money in my account...it finally dawned on me why they would put money in my account.

A few like BetCRIS and BetJamaica have pretty good loyalty programs. If you are a gambler, as in one who bets for entertainment, it's common to have additional requests met. We see players complain when they are at fault and get a credit because it is simply a good business decision for the house.

but if those books find you bet like 100 bets a day, then they won't give you any comps, right? because their mentality is recreational players are not as sharp as seasoned gamblers?

I don't understand your logic here. Why would they want to give comps to only sharps? It should be the other way around. If you make 100 plays a day, they should be giving you all sorts of things with the hope you will keep playing there.

i think you misunderstood my post. i said, the books like the recreational players better because they're not that keen on the odds, so the house edge will be a lot higher. so the books like the big recreational player over pros.
