looks like its called diverticulitis. I googled diverticulitis and steroids and it appears that steroids can cause this. Yes, I have that much free time.

so can sesame seeds. doesn't change the fact that no one is going to want to roll with a guy that's sporting a colostomy bag. imo.

I had a roomate that had this... he had a colostomy back for about a year, before they re-attached everything.

he'd only need the colostomy bag, if his intestines exploded before he got treatment I think.... that is what happened with my roomate, he waited too long, went in after days of pain, they doctors thought it was his appendix until they opened him up

In some cases, they have to go in an surgically take out the infected area of the colon. Obviously, they have to keep that area clean, thus the bag.

I have diverticulitis and modifying my diet has been the answer. Haven't had beef since Sep 28, 2008, and quite honestly do not miss it as much as other things that have been cut out. If you put a plate in front of me with the choicest cut of prime rib and another plate with fried okra, and told me I could have one without it hurting my gut, I'd pick the fried okra.
Hard for me to imagine this causing him to bring his career to an end...unless, of course, he isn't half the man he's been without the steroids.

my mom had this about 2 months ago, she got real sick and they hospitalized her.
they didnt do any surgery though, just some heavy antibiotics for about a week and than she was released.

Still sounds bad, but they way they were talking about what he might have, it could have been worse.

Do some of u numnuts realize he has been off of steroids for a few years? The UFC doesn't allow Steroids. He was 75 lbs heavier when he fought in the WWE.
