Because 0-0 doesn't imply no offense in hockey. Usually does in football.

I have the under too but why when the defenses play good in football they don't get credit but in hockey they always praise the goalies on 0-0 games? They never say the offenses in hockey suck. They say the goalies are great.

You can be 60 feet from the goal and not score but you can be 50 yards away and get 3 points

That has not been the most exciting game in the world tonight. I call it a sleepy game. It has been real boring.

0-0 is often a snoozer in hockey.

Can you explain why a 0 0 tie in soccer is exciting? It's all relevant.... give me a great pitchers duel in baseball, give me 2 hot goalies in hockey..... give me 2 inept offenses in foot ball I show you a boring game.....

Actually a 0-0 soccer game where the goalies shut out the opposing teams is exciting if you like watching soccer. I'm just saying that great defenses never get credit because people want to see points and goals scored.
One of the most boring games I watched this year was the Boise St - Fresno St football game where the score was like 64-49 and I didn't see a single tackle the whole game.

I think scoring chances is the important number, not the actual final score. I don't mind a 0-0 hockey game, as long as there are plenty of good scoring chances. If the goalies make great saves, it's still fun to watch.
In this football game, I don't think the offense of either team has spent more than 5 minutes total in opposition territory.

I love 0-0 football games. As long as its good defense and just not awful offense.

pavyracer give me some points you have too many points, they're slowing you down, once you were agile nimble unburdened able to turn on a dime now you're weighed down with points. 1588 points, too many!

True I Like Soccer, I like to see goalies jumping in the air catching the ball and that stuff.
