Wow. That may be the dumbest call I've ever seen.

Actually I like that call, considering the way Peyton was moving at ease.

What I dont f^cking understand is, why did Billicheat take a time out before the two minute warning.

And that stupid Patriots defender, why didn't he just let the Colts player score with 1 min still left. All the Pats needed was a field goal to win.The freaking game killed my moneyline

I have more. It could have been a high snap the ball ends in the end zone and kicker kicks it out of bounds for a safety. Then the Patriots kick off for a touch back and Manning has to go 80 yards for the winning TD.

Disagree. I think most people are so short-sited that they will only see the end of the game, but the Colts approach was much more flawed. Any team that allows Moss to end up with one defender to beat time after time after time will be beaten by the Patriots. Bill made 1 flawed move the Colts played seriously flawed all night and got a gift.

As a Patriots fan, let me say Belichick is terrible with clock management. Always has been. Just the media never discusses it. He ALWAYS burns his timeouts in the dumbest situations.

But at least the Hoodie backers had 2 1/2 points.

Controversial call for sure but how on earth can that be a "fix"?!!
So I suppose Faulk intentionally bobbled the ball to deny himself forward progress and the 1st down?
Also, Lets not forget the excellent catch made by Reggie Wayne for the winning TD to confirm this "fix".

                                      Here's a crazy thought...

Refs, Umpires, they control everything. Momentum, killing a teams rhythm, all of that. Some teams less favored are so bad, that there's not much the Refs can do to help them cover.

Pass interference and Offensive Holdings can greatly change whether a teams covers a spread ,or make a game go over or under. And guess what, the Refs can make that call when ever they feel like it. Who can over rule their decision in the game except them.

There's no denying that. This is true for almost any sport. Refs/officials have a huge say.
It's the human aspect of officiating in sport which makes it all the more exciting.

To be on a fix, a game (such as today's) that has a huge audience calls for so many things to go right.
Moreover, if a game is to be fixed - the outcome of said game wouldn't be put up to rest on one single play decided within a margin of inches.

I think the Patriots didn't have any faith in their defense at all. Manning was torching them in the drive before that. That sure sends a message to your defense that you don't have any faith behind them at all.

Books prolly cleaned up on that. ML attracted NE bettors i think, and -points for Indy.
**** the 1 point was the thinking of most peeps prolly, well not this time.
