What american sports are they showing in Australia and do they show them live? Betting on sports is not about stats. I would suggest learning first how the games are played, rules, team names, divisions etc and maybe after a couple years start betting with money.

Im From a State called Tasmania the Island off the bottom of Australia...
They play all US sports here and if you have cable you can watch them all live...

*Don't take anything ppl say seriously.
*NEVER pay someone for their picks (touts...)
*Understand your bankroll; know the total you could lose with out it effecting you.

Let me second that! You would be wise to spend 90% of your money on whoers and liqour and wate the other 10% on sports gambling. This is the toughest thing you will ever do.. The elite have trouble hitting 55% year in and year out and besides that you really have to be patient,discipline, and manage your money. I have been at it 11 yrs and still have not mastered it. Not to sound arrogant, but I have been at the top of anything else I have ever done, but certainly not this. Good luck to you!!

Hello and Welcome...55% is not as easy as it seems...you may be able to get a side right but you have to factor in vig and spreads. 1-2% can do it better than the best.

Hi Everyone lets see how I start off I did it yesterday but forgot 2 post them on here so i wont bother you with the details as they good be thought as fake..
So tpday I have

Port -3.5
Cha- 12.5
and Mil Didnt have a money line so i just picked them they are paying 1.85 (the way we read odds are diff in Aussie than you guys....) But im sure you understand them if not Means they are paying $1.85 for every $1 I put on it

Good play with milw, alot of value. Did you take cha +12.5 or orl -12.5..same with port? You have the underdog listed with the favorite's spread.

Your better off with less publicized sports, if your into soccer there are soft lines in the Australian and New Zealand leagues, Aussie rules, Australian basketball league etc. If I was there right now I'd be visiting teams within reasonable reach, trying to get in with players, staff, pitch layers, basically anyone involved with the teams who has access to info you won't find in the mainstream media or at least get the info before they do. Get to know the teams inside out, the rivalries, fan groups, what's going on internally in the clubs etc

If you can master your niche markets you can move to others in the surrounding areas, don't be fooled by the glitz and glam of major leagues, the real money is in the leagues and sports that doesn't get all the attention.

If you insist on not following it though, you need to become familiar with the teams, strong ones weak ones, I'd say devote some energy to learning to recognize what Line Movements can tell you but part of deciphering such is to have a grasp of what Public Perception of teams is....Does Joe think they are a strong team, gonna "plow under" the team that he thinks is weak so he's jumping all over them -10.5 without devoting even an ounce of thought to the matter?

Observe the rest of the games and absorb knowledge. Join contests where possible (theres one starting on the 19th, NFL College Football and NBA, you don't have to bet them all) and also bet SBR points which you get for free, on games, but don't just right out the chute blindly throw money at this. Invest in Alcohol and Whores like Mike said, for now at least (which again great wisdom lies in such and I encourage you to consider this as a LifePlan rather than allowing yourself to devolve into a degenerate gambler ), and watch as many games as you can. Immediately thats gonna take some focus on your part because Monday Night Football will, due to the time zones involved, be on in Tasmania at something like, what????, 8:35 AM on Tuesday??? where you are so you'll prolly miss several games before you figure it out....get in a rythym. Most (football) games are on Sundays of course. Well Sunday HERE anyway.

Australians are among the most skilled partiers, that is to say compotent consumers of Alcohol, that I've ever met. Even (and in some instances especially) the female ones.

.. Yes the time zones are a alot different im from the future so when its 4pm monday here its 9pm Pacific time (i only know that as i work as a debt collector calling into the US and we can only call upto 9pm pacific time LOL)...
Yeah the Tassie Devil is from here but they look nothing like cartoon Google Tasmanian Devil if you like they are little black and white aggressive things that eat dead stuff in the bush.. Here is a usless face for you if you catch a Tasmanian Devil in a Rabbit trap they will actually chew their own leg off to get out... They are becomming extinct tho as they have some tuma wiping them all out so if u do have any spare $$ (which im sure you dont) feel free to give some 2 that cause.. I havnt tho LOL...
