Jazette-Sportsbook.com comped promotion on derby ends in a cheesey push
At www.allhorseracing.com which is a sportsbook-racebook-casino-poker room under the umbrella ownership of Jazette-sportsbook.com ran a $10 free bet on the derby that ended in a push.

They had an over and under of the race running at 2 minutes and 2 seconds.Guess what,it ended up running at 2.02 so it was a push and no one won. They really touted it and the upcoming free Preakness and Belmont proposition bets as being a gift to loyal players. For god's sake, couldn't they have found it in their heart to make the spread uneven so half the players would have won the bet!!!!!!!

Then the jockey Borel was so out of his mind with glee that he was practically jumping out of the irons and waiving to his fans semi easing the horse 30 yards before the finish line and that probably affected the final time.

I know it's a measely $10 freebie but if I were sportsbook.com to make myself look good after all the crap they have been pulling lately I would have given everybody the free $10 win.

If this is your biggest gripe with the Jazette family, then you are living a much better life than most of the people on this board.

Great point on Borel. First, ride the horse out before celebrating. Check the head-on shot in the stretch. He was leaning sideways right before the finish. Horse could have gotten spooked and ducked into the rail and tossed him with all his hand and body movements in the saddle.

But I think you're right. His actions obviously affected the final time.

At least they don't have to worry about not getting their $10 now.
