The problem i think comes from keeping it in the fridge, but there must be some way to heat it and have it come out soft, instead of crunchy. How do I do it? Microwaving is out of the question.
How do I reheat bread without making it hard?

#8well what i'm doing is reheating a mcdonalds cheeseburger i left in the fridge overnight. i'm trying to duplicate that fresh, soft, moist taste u get when u first receive it.
but whenever i reheated it in the past, it'd end up crunchy and the meat hard.
i may just try wrapping the whole thing in paper towelComment -

#23Masu, the microwave is your best bet. However, place a cup of water in there off to the side. The moisture helps the bread.Comment -

#24With the microwave less is more...always start with less time...you can always add on. But the opposite is not true once you over microwave stuff it never tastes the same. Also microwaving the bread separately helps..Comment -

#25fat fck opinion here. reheat seperately. do the patty first then put it back together and heat entire burger. heating bread the same amount of time it takes to heat the meat will overcook the bread.Comment -

it's almost zero hour, in exactly 10 minutes i will start to heat it. i will first separate the bread from the patty, i will heat the patty in the oven at 300 degrees for 8.5 minutes, after which, i'll put the bread in the microwave wrapped in a paper towel maybe with a glass of water to the side. both the bread and the patty will then heat for exactly 1.5 minutes. i will take both out and then assemble them.
the rogue cheese will be the wild card in this operation. there's no telling what it will do.Comment -
