There is a very lovely floral arrangement at the Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. If you go to the information desk and say you are Craig Mattis you can retrieve the arrangement and give them to a loved one at the hospital compliments of Wal.

If no-one claims the flowers by 5:00 PM I have left instructions for them to be donated to another patient of choice.

Duece, I sent the flowers for the "mom".

I explained going in that I didn't believe the story but was willing to send the flowers regardless because in the event it was a lie which everyone belived it was someone else would actually benefit from the flowers.

unfortunately they are great aunts and uncles, 2nd and 3rd cousins etc.. i really dont speak to them that much except when visiting..best to give it to someone at the hospital, will brighten their day

You would not believe the hassle I had trying to get these flowers actually delivered. I called to verify the delivery and while on the phone the driver was just arriving at the hospital. Several minutes later I get a call from the service explaining that there was no-one either as a patient or employee by the name Craig Mattis. I knew this might be a problem since we refrain from personal information and I just made up the name but I tell the service to tell the driver to just leave them anyways under that name and if someone said they were this person to give them to him. If no-one showed to just donate the flowers.

About 30 minutes later I called the hospital and talked to this very nice lady who finally discovered hat the flowers had been attempted to be delivered but since they didn't have any records of the person they weren't accepting them. i then explained to her what I tried to tell the service. She said she would do what she could.

20 minutes later the service calls me back. Again there is no-one by that name. Now I have to try and explain how a guy ordered these flowers to be delivered to a ficticious name to a guy on an internet forum board that doesn't allow personal information to be exchanged. I tell the service to change the recepient of the flowers to the Information Desk at the hospital and to then instruct the person at the desk to give the flowers to anyone claiming to be a Craig Mattis. If no Craig Mattis by 5 then to simply donate the flowers.

On a related note, KARMA didn't come in the form of a winning day of college football selections though as I went 3-3.

Or maybe it did, maybe God decided if I didn't care enough about money to waste it on calling a scammers bluff then I must not care enough to want to win at football today either.
