Let me clarify right quick. Bama has a defense that hasn't given up a lot of points the past month or so. LSU being a quality team has rightfully scored the most. But they are hungry and like to whip people. I love the Bama D. For the most part, GMAC doesn't play stupid. Ingram and Richardson...well nothing really needs to be said about them. Julio finally started acting like the player he can be. I have the utmost faith in Nick Saban to keep them focused on the big picture. And that isn't winning the West.

I tell you what , Nina. If Bama covers tonight that would tell me a lot about this Team and their focus! They may go ALL THE WAY (Nat Champs) if they do look good.

Sammy, the Bama D has not given up triple digits in rushing to a single back since Ole Miss in 2007. That stat and the way Bama's D line has played this year makes me think Dixon won't do it either. I think the turning points will be the Miss State QB (whom I think the pressure will get to) and the wearing down of the Miss State D line by the 4th quarter.

I think Miss. State plays this game close tonight. Alabama has had some close calls even at home this season. I think getting 12 points tonight is a good play.

I really think the one team left in the regular season that they will overlook is the one for next week. UT-Chattanooga. Coming in between the last two SEC foes and right before Thanksgiving.

Ithink Bama rolls tonite. All NS needed to do is pop in the LSU / Miss St. tape. They are well aware of the Bulldogs and what they have been doing this season. They already had their scare against TN. I'll admit it's hard to lay 12 with the Tide but I think they'll be focused tonight.

Anyone really think Bama's players don't know what happened in the MSU/LSU or MSU/FL game?

If Bama sticks to the run game and keep it simple I think they will be ok. But if they try to pass the ball with Mcelroy than State could possibly win this game at home.

Blah Blah Blah!!!
That's all I hear when they say anything.
You know after 10 straight wins(22 straight regular season wins) against varying levels of competition and no matter how good, bad, or ugly the wins are Alabama is still unbeaten and McElroy has yet to lose a ball game for us this season.

You were way off, and Bama crushed State.
The problem is not with Bama's Defense it's their offense, but it's slowly getting better.

It is hard to believe that some in here actually thought that a poor team like Miss. State could upset Alabama. Covering a spread is one thing, but a straight upset was never in the cards. Now I imagine that we will hear about how Auburn has a great chance of upsetting Alabama and how Florida State will have a great chance at upsetting Florida. Then some one will chime in about how Texas can get beat in the Big 1+11. All this in hopes of getting Cinderella to the ball. Well folks, if you believe in fairy tales, I suggest the Public Library for your entertainment.

The game is normally close due to it being a Rivalry game.
I'm not sure what the line will be, but I'd say 14 since it's in Auburn.

I'm hoping for a repeat of last year even with the game being in Auburn and a new coach. Miss State thought it would make a difference with all that and a bye week..nahh!

I was at the game and it was awesome. I was right behind the BAMA sidline. I could see everything wonderful. Miss St fans were very disrespectful, when Ingram went down they started to ring the stupid cowbells. Why even try to wear black jerseys? Havent these teams figured out that black jerseys do not work??

When Ingram went down, I loved seeing all the defensive guys go out on the field to ask him who did it. If it had been an intentional thing, there would have been dawg skin all over Scott Field.
Now, gentlemen, the upcoming game with Chattanooga. I am positive the plan is to get the starters out of there as soon as possible.
