How long does it take a DIME BETTOR to get use to betting $25.00 again?
I mean scaling back on his own , not going broke.
Can he ever?

No, that won't be enough action to pump the adrenaline for him/her. Will rather put it all on 1 game

happened to me, i mean i wasnt a dime bettor but i bet a healthy amount for my age and what happens when you lower your stakes you need more and more action to account for the amount of money

I bet a dime on 5-6 games a week but the rest are 100-800 per game and never less than 100. I can't do $25 a game it does nothing for me cause I couldn't care less if I win or lose. I mean how could one feel bad losing a $25 bet.

When I am broke $25 feels like $500
It all depends on your bankroll

i'm a system guy, which also means strict bankroll management, so i used to up to 25% of my bankroll, but now realizing i'm at less risk, i only do 3.33%, so for me it was a huuuge difference.
the only way is to take ur emotions out of it and realize it's a system so if it wins and if it loses, it isn't ur fault and you stick by it. it's the only way to take emotions out of it.
emotions have no place in this business, and i'd even argue they have no place in everyday life either. keep it rational.

It would never work for long at all. Betting small and winning feels like a loss of 975 instead of a $25 win. Losing $25 just makes you feel frustrated when those add up also. It just feels like a waste after a while and they will just try to save up a dime to unload all at once - hoping they get on a run again for the big bets.
