Curry Might Be A Flop In NBA
Harder than you thought Big Boy, last night he plays 2 minutes and talking that he wanted to play for Knicks. Hey Big Boy you could not shine JJ Reddick's shoes and he is just an average nba player. You cannot play D and too soft for NBA.

    See ya in Spain

give him a little time, he's only played 7 games and his team is dysfunctional.

I just think there are tons of guards like him in NBA and he is having a harder time with strong defenders, not many easy shots anymore like college.

That's true and I agree with you for the most part, but I still see him having somewhat of an impact in the NBA for quite a while, not Spain. I'm not so sure I expect him to be an all-star at any point, but I think he's a lot like JJ Redick and could not only shine his shoes, but put up similar numbers to his as well.

Shitty team, teammates, and coach. Get him on a team that wil make plays to fit his strengths, and he will flourish. Kind of like how WR's suddenly improve once they get a good QB.

Once again JJ, good job making a thread for the soul purpose of igniting convo. The thread is totally off-base though. Ten games into the season, and people want to say a guy cant cut it??? Good one JJ. I'm sure this thread will be about 3-4 pages.

maybe if he gets thrown in jail he can toughen up and be somewhat productive in the nba

If you understand basketball, you'll know that Steph Curry is going to be a solid NBA player for many years because he has avery high basketball IQ and a silky jumpshot. Give him a year or two more of lifting to fill out his body and he could very well be a Ray Allen-type player, although with better handles.

I spent two summers playing against Steph Curry in high school, the kid is a baller.

                  PS- I've hit 1,000 posts!

I think Brandon Jennings is better. Although it is early.

you do realize who you are talking about right? curry was double teamed every time he touched the ball in college. if he got an easy shot, its because he created one. he will find his nba groove. golden state is awful. give him some time

Walter Frazier pointed out that there is a great amount of tension between Curry and Ellis on last nights broadcast. Of the games I've watched Curry looked lost offensively and poor defensively. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade before the trade deadline. Ellis was quoted as saying "I can"t play with this guy".

Well his team is a flop so I guess Curry is just trying to blend in...

He has the potential to flourish but I doubt that'll happen at GSW.

Very good point. Even if he was playing terrible teams, still, a double-team is just as tough as what he will face at this level.
