    betwwts screws me AGAIN
are you back in business Bill because I have ****ing had it with this book. Here is what happened. 5 minutes until race 2 at woodbine on 11/17/05 and I go to bet the #1 horse cape cove daisy. I notice that the horse department screwed up and put the names from the 1st race into race 2. however, betwwts lists their tickets with the track name, race #, and horse # only so I contact them via live chat and let them know the horses names are incorrect. She puts me on hold and contacts the horse department. I type into live chat I am making a small bet of $30 on the 1 horse and give the horses name. After the race is over and the #1 wins she comes back(I told her the #1 won) and tells me they have decided to void my ticket. I told her that is not fair because you do not even grade off the horses name and never woulda known had I not contacted you and she hangs up live chat on me. If this forum is impartial please explain via the many complaints coming in how this book is A+. I need your help. Not alot of money but about the 7th time they have ****ed me over.

I am running out of sites. I only played them because I could not get my pinny bet in cause the money has disappeared. If I did not have bad luck I would not have any luck at all.

double B, heres a site where you can learn the basics on horse racing. as far as horse racing on TV.

well, there are 2 channels out there right now on satellite tv dedicated to horse racing. not to mention there are some of the bigger races shown on espn.

A common question about sports betting is, "Can I make money betting on sports?" The answer is simple: no. Some bettors get lucky in the short term, but over a long series of bets, the gambler will almost always lose money. The reason is the 11/10 vig, a built-in advantage that guarantees the bookie will make money. Every time you bet on a point spread game, you must bet $11 for every $10 in potential winnings. If you bet $110 and win, you win $100. On average, you have to win 52.38 percent of the time just to break even The famous gambler Lem Banker once referred to this as "the implacable reality of 11-to-10" It's difficult to win 52.38 percent of the time. If you bet steadily for several years, all you're likely to accomplish is sending your bookie's kids to college. And by the way experts approximate it at a 200 billion dollar industry.

                              Pic,

As you know, and as many of our posters have learned, horse wagers are not like sports bets where the bets are considered locked in as soon as they are placed. Wagers are not official until racing information including results, start times and horse times are submitted. If the wrong event participants were listed did you think the race may be invalid? In theory, odds may have been affected by other bettors who wagered by horse names and those players who lost would have expected their money returned.

Offering a bad line is inconvenient and a valid service complaint. I will ask WWTS if they have record of you stating which horse you wanted prior to the start of the event. If they can verify that you believed your money was at risk they may decide to make an exception.

true Bill but remember- I could bet $1 or a million on a horse at betwwts and it would not affect the odds because they do not add to the horse pool and they pay off of track odds. If she had waited 3 more seconds to hang up I would have had the entire conversation saved. Unfortunately all I got was that stupid blue screen flash logoff. However, if they keep all recorded live chat conversations and give it up they are busted. All you gotta do is get ahold of Keri Ann L and I am sure she will remember me. Also, she dealt with someone in the horse department. Frankly, I am ****ing sick and tired of calling into these books doing the right thing and telling them their software is ****ed up. I had just contacted them like 5 minutes before because their software stuck again and was allowing past post betting. Every time I call in I am the one who takes the shaft for doing the right thing. Frankly, if they cannot handle a racebook them freakin don't offer it. Pinnacle finally straightened up my account so now I have to retake my money out of betwwts again. Pinny is doing it right btw. Easiest screen to bet on, their allow betting up to around 15-30 seconds ahead of posttime, and they cut if off so there are no questions asked. If pinny can do it how come cris and betwwts cannot being they are 'supposed to be A+ books'.

I would like to take this moment to thank Bill for a good job once again. Betwwts did save the chat transcript and did see that I specifically stated I was betting on the horse that did crush the field. They went ahead and put the amount I would have profited in my account. Once again thanks Bill.

Pic, I know of a few gambling sites who would have lied or "lost" the chat transcript so I'm happy they were honest. I don't bet horses and am not familiar with WWTS but from what I can see, it seems to be a pain to validate a wager. That's enough for me to go and ask people who bet a lot on it if they are having as much trouble.

That being said, can you tell me some of the advantages you get by waiting at the last minute before picking a horse? What kind of info do you get?

Late money is probably the 2nd most important thing to look at when you bet on a race. The people with the inside info almost always make their bets within the last 2 minutes. In the case of what happened with betwwts it had nothing to do with a last minute bet. They just put the wrong names with each number. I specifically told them the horses name I was betting on and the transcript proved that once again I was telling the truth. It is too bad Cris did not have any morals to check out the truth of what I was saying also. They owe me 18k still. I am debating filing suit in Ohio. Although a longshot if offshore ever does become legal in the next 21 years I would be able to collect. I wonder if the government realizes just how much taxes they are losing.

                                        You are welcome Pic.

In regards to your previous post, no book is immune to bad lines, including Pinnacle. Obviously you expect the book to make a minimal amount of mistakes and offer a fair resolution. The most important thing is how it is handled.

CRIS does not owe you 18k. As I mentioned over email, you accept the race results by continuing to wager with them. A legal body would only look at your last complaint and the first question you wil be asked is why you continued to wager if you did not like the service.

We should take a break for the holiday weekend and start it back up the following week.

Pics ... might be stating the obvious here ... but why dont you get a phone account? Then they actually log the bets so no dispute.

Lol natrass I play like 4+ tracks and nearly every race. I might as well call in and just keep them on the line for about 5 straight hours because I would literally be making a call every 2 minutes and that is not fun.

I have a couple guys at the plant askin me to take some horse bets but i am not up on it. I was thnking about laying the races off and collecting a rebate. I dont feel like taking calls for 2 dollar exactas n shit. 14 cents! yes!!!

                                                        Pic
any experience at Ehorse and TCbets? Taking a bonus might be worth it.

I get bonuses at pinny and betwwts now. I have an ehorse account, an ameritab account, and a tvg account. The last 2 do not pay rebates. I opened an account at tcbets but when I went to make a western union deposit they told me the guy I was sending it to was banned from receiving which pretty much scared me away from that site. If you wanna throw a quick $20 on a couple horses tonight and maybe some odds(and $20 is a small bet anyway) then play meadowlands Race 6 the #4 Roddys Bags Again and Woodbine Harness Race 5 the #5 Thinkative. If they lose you are out $40 but they are one good trip away from sweet odds and a win. You will probably get around +800 on Roddy and +400 on thinkative.
