It was this reason and this reason only why the democrats took back control of congress in 2006 and won the White House in 2008 and NOT because of any change in the democratic party platform because there wasn't any.

As far as the "crappy party" you speak of, things only began going downhill after the democrats took back control of congress in late 2006. While I am not blaming the democrats directly, you sure can't dispute the timeline involved.

BUSH signed the 2009 spending budget therefore he & the entire congress owns it. It's not a one way street by any means. Spending appropriations requests came from both sides of the aisle. According to the CBO, $185 Billion of the $787 Billion Stimulus will be spent in 2009 and the rest will be unleashed in 2010. So the 2009 charts are accurate. You're the one who needs to get your facts straight before you start your bigoted trolling.

1) so you're saying that of the $200B attributable to Obama (peace be upon him) in 2009, 185 of it is stimulus and only $15 is actual new spending / spending increases ? Sure, I believe in the tooth fairy too.

And speaking of handouts, I don't know how closely you followed the campaign back in late 2008 but I distinctly remembering Messiah Obama saying that under his program 95% of Americans would be receiving a tax cut. Well I am solidly in the middle class and quite sure I fall in that 95% yet I have heard no talk of when my cut is coming.

ElC, the reparations handouts are the only thing he can think of to try and bolster his already aweful approval rating. The Repubs made a huge mistake when they let that moron Palin run as a VP candidate. Had they chosen anyone with a decent vocabulary and a modicum of experience this BS president would be busy organizing black power rallies in the Chicago streets as opposed to phucking things up in the oval office.

ElC, I did high school in Chicago and undergrad, grad and law school all in the States. Canadian politics are boring as hell. I have no idea who our current PM is and could not care less. I am only intersted in American politics as your leaders truly affect global issues. Our guys are just a bunch of fluffy kokphux with no muscle to back up anything.
