I'm curious what percent of our readers live in the U.S. This might help me (and other mods) decide how much time to spend on different books.

#16BB, your avatar reminds me of a question I used to ask my Dad when I was kid: "What does the "elb" mean in the Montreal Expos logo?" My dad replied: "I don't know. It must be something in French".Originally posted by BigBollocksHave lived in Florida, Saskatchewan, Alabama, Montreal, Dublin (Ire.), Mississippi, Vegas, Georgia, and Tennessee, but have resided stateside for quite sometime.

#17I remember asking my father exactly the same question at a Mets game somewhere in the very early 80s.Originally posted by EBoneBB, your avatar reminds me of a question I used to ask my Dad when I was kid: "What does the "elb" mean in the Montreal Expos logo?" My dad replied: "I don't know. It must be something in French".

"Montreal Expos Baseball" he told me.

I've since just assumed that to be true.Comment

#19I looked this up at one point..

 Question
What does the ELB on the Expos cap stand for?

 Answer

There is actually no "L" in the equation :-) The "e" stands for Expos, the "b" for Baseball, and as a whole, it's an "M" for Montreal, and the m-e-b stand for Montreal Expos Baseball. As simple as that.Comment

#20I thought the correct answer was: it is just a multi-colored M for Montreal. Thank you for the explanation, Santo.Originally posted by SantoI looked this up at one point..

#21This is a good poll. I have thought in recent times how it would be useful to have some kind of identifier for each user for whether they are U.S. or non-U.S.

Simple example: someone asks the question, "What is the best sportsbook?"

The answer depends entirely on geography. This poll doesn't address that specifically but it addresses parallel issues.

 I am non-U.S.Comment
