Trying to poke somebodys eye out warrants a 2 qtr suspension in the SEC..............robbery will get a player 1 qtr.

Knocking a player out with a punch gets you 7 games or so in the Pac-10, in the SEC it gets you 3 qtrs.

If you kill somebody, you are suspended for the year but you automatically qualify for a redshirt in the SEC

reminds me of a guy I played HS B-ball with. ( Michael Spruell ) a top 5 player in the country. coulda gone anywhere in the nation he choose to go but couldnt score high enough on the SAT. so he went to a junior college ( Okaloosa Walton in Fla ). Was a junior college All -American for 2 yrs. Signed with Auburn and that summer got arrested for rape, aggervated sodomy, aggervated assualt, etc..
allegedly he tried to rape 2 hoodrats here one drunken summer night. he was convicted on the 2nd trial after the first was a mistrial.
sentenced to a mandatory 15 years, no parole. This was 13 yrs ago.

However, be careful not to load up on this game. I was told that the veterans (Berry, Williams, and others) took over practice and it was actually a good one considering. These guys were freshmen so it was thought maybe it wasn't as bad as if it was one of the older guys. It also looks like the charges on Jackson are gonna be dropped since he didn't actually do the robbing. I suspect he will still be suspended for the year though. It was kept quiet but he failed a drug test and that's why he was suspended last game. Richardson is most definitely a goner.

One of the starters (a sophmore) was a physical freak. 6-2 200pd linebacker, who ran a 4.4. He was being recruited by Miami & Penn St. as a sophmore. Probably wouldve played strong safety
