NBA All Star voting has started, even though teams have only played 5-8 games so far. Does that seem ridiculous to anyone else? The game isn't until February next year. I understand that they probably want to promote it as much as possible but it seems stupid to vote for the best players in the league after less than ten games.
Also, the players on the ballots themselves could have been better thought out. Media people determine who will go on the ballot... in October before the season has even started. Blake Griffin is the only rookie on the ballot - too bad he hasn't played a game all year. Al Thornton is on, Eric Gordon is off. Hakim Warrick is on, stud rookie Brandon Jennings is off. On Kirk Hinrich and Ramon Sessions. Off Chris Kaman and Zach Randolph.
They should wait until 20 games or so to start this.
