Step 1: Move out of the US, never to return.
Step 2: Line up reliable payment processors.
    Step 3: Get financial backing

The rest is relatively easy, I would think.

Learn how they operate, get to know people who can help you, otherwise if your a sucessful gambler be on the other side where you can shop the +125 to +145 odds.

Be prepared for wives, children and mothers calling your 800 number crying&yelling

I always thought someone could have had a nice sportsbook online just selling low cost parlay cards.$1,$5,$10 and maybe $20. I know a few of these portable food vendor truck drivers that show up at lunch time at factories and office buildings and they make a killing selling these parlay cards. My favorite fun recreational bets are $5 and $10 multi game parlays where you can win a couple hundred dollars playing 4 team moneyline underdogs.I just won a nice parlay like that last night with the Nationals+210 beating the Padres

I'm not sure though as to what incentive a parlay only sportsbook would have to give as far as incentive-bonus-promotions to a bettor to steer them away from playing parlays at the full service books.Maybe oddball stuff like if you lose one segment ''a game'' but it's a perfect game,no hitter, unassisted triple play, shutout in football,2 safeties in a game,60 yard or over field goal etc.etc.etc. it's a win or a push.

The nice thing with these bets are no one really gets hurt that bad losing $$$$$$$$$$$.Try selling these cards under the table and it will take all of a week for you to get nabbed by the socialist nanny state authority figure police.God forbid a person give great odds on a parlay card where the player stands a chance to win taking business away from the state ripoff lottery.

There were some books that just offered parlay cards and all failed, no need when you could do it at a book.

Take a trip to Vegas and observe how the books there are managed....then do everything completely opposite of them and you'll be successful.

                1. Take everyone's deposit and give them a sweet bonus
                2. Whenever anyone tries to w/d, blame everybody else except yourself and tell them the check should be received next week.
                3. Repeat step 2 over and over again
                4. Profit

If you need more specific examples how to do this, visit BetUS, Cascade and Sportsbook.

If you need a shill forum to make sure you only get positive posts about your site even though they know you are a crook, you'll need TheRx and MajorWager.

Your doomed for failure, you cannot do it anymore

Books have approx 75% failure rate

Start an exchange. Much easier. Go to the Tradesports website; copy, paste, and improve.

I have been researching online all day, still didn't find anything that tells me how to manage a traditional book.

It's a very bad time to start a book. Getting people's trust is going to be extremely difficult, funding is a huge hassle. The biggest advice is, you NEED to get real experience in a book first, because there are things you can't learn any other way that you'll need to know and you will help make connections that will help you start earning that trust.

I wonder how many bettors, particularly during losing streak, have thought of switching sides and booking bets instead of making them. Good luck with that...

The easiest way to set up a sportsbook is to employ a 3rd party company to run the day to day operations, like cs, line management, accounts and all that. There are a few in costa rica that do it for a 50% cut. To make your brand successful and to make good cash, you need millions and millions in marketing dollars. If you don't want to accept US players then there's no point...
