I just received a 100$ check from oddsmaker in the mail. What's the story with this operation?

Oddsmaker is run by the folks that used to operate BetOnUSA. The also owned World Gaming for a few weeks before they handed everything over to Jazette.

They used the same hook before and didnt pay.

This is one of those deals I'd suggest trying to run the balance up. Certainly I would never send these proven stiffs any real money. There is a chance they will pay on the free roles to those that post on forums. Everyone else is out of luck I'm afraid.

ok well I won over $1500 on this site and I still havent gotten my check I cashed out over a month ago. they said it should
take 7 days so 2 weeksor more ago I asked them about it again they said oh wait another 14 days. Been past 14 still nothing. they send emails to me like im gona place a bet meanwhile they never paid my winnings if i dont get my check in another 10 days im contacting my lawyer hopefully that will be fun anyway have fun wasting your time on this site

After reading all the review I was skeptical about this site and waiting on a decent chunk of change. I first got the mail in the letter for the bonus, went and signed up, lost the bonus and then proceeded with deposits in order to play poker. I requested two withdrawals, one by standard check for 500 (7-14 business days) and one fed ex for 3k (2-4 business days). I was worried I wouldn't getting the money but yesterday on the 15th business day of the 1st withdrawal request and 5th business day of the second withdrawal request, I received both checks. So I just wanted to let everyone know that I did get paid in case there is anyone out there that is in the same boat. Also, they say you'll be receiving an email from the cashier dept. etc etc, well I never got those emails before receiving my money. So there is hope and I'm going to continue to play here, especially with the very loose play at the high end NL tables.

We have a few pending complaints which are probably a result of the "cashier confirmation" not being delivered. If the payout request is accepted it's likely the money is on its way. Most of the scams with BetOnUSA came from wagering and the bait n switch promos.

They send each user from their mailing list a code. They have to use that. You can't just call and say Hi, give me the bonus and then have your gerbil call and get the same bonus.

i got the same thing and im in the uk,
i managed to get it up to the £1500 minimum withdrawal limit and put in a withdrawal request 2 weeks ago,(it says withdrawals are processed within 2 days on there site) no joy in receiving yet, getting the run around,thought id give them another week, if i dont get it by then ill take it to the next step,

I requested a payout from oddmaker.com and received it about 3 1/2 weeks later via Fed Ex.

Deposited it into my bank which tells me after day 4 of the deposit, that tehy are unable to verify funds and they basically believe it to be counterfeit. They are investigating the origins of the check. I was also questioned as to where and how I received the check.

Kind of confused why they would waste money to send me a fake check. Has anyone here ever received and cashed an actual paper check from them?

I tried posting this on the EOG forums but I think they back oddsmaker, so no help from anyone over there thus yet.

Yea I'm on week 2 of the check clearing same thing fake check. I'm contacting the bank to see if i can get a ceritfied letter saying the funds are good if they dont give me a cerditifed letter I will be posting the lawyers number who will be taking on the case
