Fellas you asked me a couple days ago to be involved here with West Coast.

Here is one for you before I sit down with a nice cold glass of Silk Soy Milk with a plate of organic granola bars while watching it rain here in the beautiful Rose City.

Hopefully I do not cause the Books any grief with this little known fact...............

Tuesday night in Memphis was Portland's 25th consecutive win over a city/team that begins with the letter "M"...........Wednesday night in Minnesota they go for the 26th consecutive win.




I also posted some thoughts on this weeks PAC 10 & WAC over in the College Football section. So hopefully I do you guys proud.

Fellas, thanks for the good words. A lady I know who works for the organization mentioned it to me the day before the Memphis game. Sorta in the jest of a fun factoid-did you know type of thing. When they won last nite, I decided to make mention of the city with the letter "M" streak. They go for 26 in a row tonite. Maybe if they mentally thought every team began with a letter "M" in the league:

Moston, Mallas, Mutah, Morlando, Mew Orleans, Man Antonio, Molden State.........

Fishhead, this place is the last of the old school style of info sharing watch dog sites. I remeber back during 1995 to 2001 at OSGA, RX, etc, etc, when that is what we all did-which protected us and others. Now much different in the rest of the neighborhood. I wrote a post in more detail about my decision to come here that they put in the nommed thread section/forum. Guys like you and Krackman and many others were a big part of what made those sites great back in the day.

A side note for newbies regarding Fish: I notice everyone has married him to Iowa football in their threads. Forget all the Iowa stuff. Fish is a guy who has spent time in Vegas (shortly after Lewis and Clark led people out west). He has rubbed elbows and been alongside the Lem Bankers, Bob McCunes, Roxy, and countless others. He brings more to any forum than you'll ever know.
