Got burnt with Mac Brown coach of Texas Longhorns football on numerous occassions when spread was like 30 points and he could have won by 50 if he wanted to but fell a point short of covering 30.I will never bet on Texas covering big spreads.

When betting on teams covering huge spreads,I want a heartless SOB that kisses alumni ass so he gets paid under the table and gets recruits paid for under the table like Bear Bryant used to do.The bookies used to keep inflating the spread and Bryant would kick 40 yard field goals with a 40 point lead and 10 seconds left in the game.

So now with college hoops upon us and top 10 teams playing sparring partner tune up games where they are favored by 35 points, what good teams will go out not caring if they embarrass the patsies?

I think it sometimes depends on who they are playing and the past history too
