    Why CRIS?
I am not dogging CRIS at all in this post. I think they have great customer service and early lines, which can be better than a low juice if you get the right line.
Have a lot bad reviews on sbr on CRIS saying they have sharp lines, or that they had a bad payout experience. What exactly do they mean by sharp lines? If they are the leader, why do they only offer -110. I am trying to find my main book.
I currently use BoDog, but only when I play the dogs, or unders . They seem to always be a 1/2 -1 point higher than most. Like I have stated before, I only play 3 sports:
    1. NFL/NCAAF
    2. NBA/NCAAB
    3. MLB
I do prefer free payouts or once a week free payouts or something close to this. Low juice would help my bankroll in the long run, but I realize I cannot have everything.
I sense that there are a lot of CRIS players on this forum, so I would like ot get some feedback for people who have used them extensively.

    Thanks,

    Charlie

they have a loyalty program so the juice is really less than -109 also they have stuff that noone else has like in progress quarters and fantasy football betting and the earliest lines, often they have the best line off a key number like 7 in football because they like to bounce the lines around and take alot of action at +7.5 and alot at -7 and hope it doesn't fall on the number.

well...Cris is generous with freeplay bonus offers, and they have a good loyalty program (not something like VIP where you get 10$ for 10k action).
1 free payout of 2.5k every friday too, perfect if you are not a very big player.

If you are looking for a main book, check out Pinnacle - they have the best lines.

Cris loyalty program gives you approx. $10 on a $1000 straight wager VIP gives you $3.63

Point taken on Pinnacle. I like everything about them except for the neteller withdrawal fee. Unfortunately at this time I am a small stakes player. My withdrawals have all been under $500, so I would not qualify for the one free monthly withdrawal.
I am kinda going back and forth between CRIS and Canbet. I am considering Canbet due to the -107 on NBA & NFL, plus free neteller withdrawals every day. Could you touch on the -109 for CRIS? I did not quite understand what you were talking about.

          Thanks!

I used VIP once in the past ... I did get $10 for 10k of action and then they charged me $10 for an instacash withdrawal ... Seeeeeeeeeeee ya!!!!!!!!!!! ... I won't be back .... I love how some of these books nickle and dime you to death.

I'm saying with the loyalty program each $1000 you bet gives you around $10 worth of loyalty free plays so instead of betting 1100 to win 1000 it is like betting 1090/1000 or -109 juice

also if you have $500 in pinnacle you can just withdraw it all and put most of it back in for free, although I'm not sure if you have $500 total

Yeah my bankroll is less tan $500 unfortunately. I am trying to build it up, but at the moment I am under the mark.
So considering the events I play, would you say CRIS is a better book than Canbet?

i think canbet might be better, cause CRIS loyalty program wont help you much - you need 8k of action to get a free play.

yes, but be careful to bet round numbers if you are betting low amounts, they will take your cents even if it is 99 cents they will round down

Cris is a bigger book than Canbet, but its not really better for small players.
Cris is more the book for pro action.

Canbet is a very good choice for smaller players, if i had 500 bucks i would chose Canbet.

On the other hand...you could try winning in the "beat the prick" contest here if you pick CRIS. 100 freeplay is nice for a 500 bankroll ^^

Its pretty much easy money. And if you fade him outside the contest, you can build your bankroll up nicely.

I want to say thanks for everyone's responses. I know I have been asking a lot of questions in the past couple of days. I like how CRIS has a good financial rating and good cusomter service, but I have read the same thing about Canbet. Considering I am playing with lower stakes, I am gonna give Canbet a whirl. Thanks again!

No problem asking questions. That's what this forum is all about. If we all put our heads together, maybe we can collectively beat the books!

If you are a lower stakes player, check out Matchbook. You can get $50 for signing up to play with. To cash it out, just deposit $100 and 1x roller on that deposit. You can place wagers for as little as 10 cents, if you just want to mess around and learn as you go. That's what I've been doing. I'm slowly branching out to some of the bigger books, now, betting 10 bucks here and there. I've learned a ton in the month I've been on this forum so far.

CRIS is very popular on this board cause of the contest.
CRIS was my favorite before I even knew of SBR. The fact that they sponsor Beat The Prick just makes them even that much better.

In speaking with VIP's live service recently I remarked about VIP's $10 "transfer fee" on withdrawals. The response was "That's a standard fee". I told the guy that they were as bad as the federal government...he had nothing more to say about that. Between their vig and their transfer fee it's more like sawbucking you to death if you're a small stakes player, like me.

I prefer Pinnacle for my betting needs for American sports. They have the best odds and very fast withdrawals. Maybe not the best for small stake players who want to withdraw often bcoz of the $15 fee for under $500 withdrawals (12 €uros for me as im an euro player)

I like Cris. They haven't got as good odds as Pinny, but the service is top notch. I've played there a little and have very positive experience. I even got a freeplay of 50€ from their "spot the spelling mistake" contest they used to run (not sure if its still on)

Standard fee? ... They're funny Shawn ... The 3 books I use all are free instacash withdrawals ... The $10 they charge is hardly standard ... In fact I call it an petty ... They don't charge it for an insta echeck deposit ... I wonder why that is? ... hehe .. Anytime I need to have a little chuckle for myself I think of the VIP Rewards program ... It's a joke ... One tenth of 1 percent ... If you bet 10 grand in one day you get $10 ... And they call that VIP ... Hahahahahahaha ... I can easily churn 3-4k in an evening of playing horses if I'm winning enough to break even and get 3% from most books which is around $100 ... Most books don't have a rewards program for games so maybe it's unkind of me to make fun of VIP, but I feel theirs is an insult, so why have it? ... Like I said, they gave me $10 for 10k of action and then snatched it for an instacash withdrawal of $750 ... I kissed them good bye at that point as a matter of principle ... I even made up a little rule for myself along the way.

Quarm ... I'll agree that Pinnacle does have the best lines and I know we've been down this road before ... Most of us like to shop for the best lines, but we're just kidding ourselves into thinking we're shrewd bettors ... We live and die on winners, not where we can get an extra buck or two on each $100 bet ... They also have indifferent customer service ... I know, I know, you don't need the love from your book.

I signed up for Pinnacle a while back but never funded ... I made a mistake by not reading the fine print before I did that ... They want a copy front and back of your credit card and driver's license ... Yeah right ... I'll send that stuff off to a foreign country in a heartbeat ... I'm surprised they don't want a copy of your birth certificate and SS # ... And then they don't even have a GOD DAMN FAX ... And sure, I'll send all this personal info to someone that has no phone service ... Uh huh ... And I love their "rule" about you can't withdraw your deposit for 30 days.
