    Journey of a sick gamblaaaaaah
day to day grind has become too much for me I have been doing this since I was like 14. I give up. I will still be playing horse racing extensively at ADW's based in the US still and I will still dable in sports betting offshore on a small level maybe $200 in action a week max and $500-1k on playoffs /superbowl (very small compared to my past days) I wish everyone good luck and health and will still be around SBR but will not be a serious offshore bettor any longer. I don't incourage or discourage your gambling habits but ask all to find what works for you and go with it, I have decided what works for me is enjoying life and betting ponies which I love (win or lose) and betting sports on strong plays or important games.

i really have no idea why everyone is thanking me for. i didn't find a cure for cancer or save anyones life. all i do is gamble and lately, i've been sucking at it, too. Just ask betphoenix.. ask them how much they love me..

Did you boys know that (no joke) Richie of betphoenix offered me a all expense paid round trip to Costa Rica for Super bowl, incl hotel and a suite with 3 computers for me.. that's how much they love me there. i have given them enough money to secure their book for at least 3 yrs. .you boys should have no problem getting paid there now, thanks to me.. so win money there and then take the wife for a nice seafood dinner on me.. that's right, cause i will be the one paying for it, not betphoenix..

                  you're welcome.

MLB is like ponies to me horses and baseball are my joy NFL and cfb and NBA are just terrible habits, I love baseball and do pretty well next year I plan on posting a total play every day of the season and will play ponies for my own enjoyment the rest of the seasons as 99% here seem to care less about them I will still read the forum daily and post where I find appropriate and try to help newbies out in the S&I section often but not push my luck with meaningless lines everyday, I am only 24 and feel the setting in my bones its get out now or never, I can enjoy life and gamble i don't have to give up either 100% but I can't do either 100% if you know what I mean

Me either Mr. odom I have the utmost respect for you and 9/10 guys here and wish all the best I lived a daily grind of balancing a "real life" and a degenerate gambler's life for the past 8 years or so and it has gotten me to a place I don't want to be, I love gambling, most of all horses and secondly MLB, b ut it will not provide a true consistent living for me or those I care about as I had hoped. Any one who dreams of a quick fortune is doing just that, dreaming. the few who do this to the fullest do it to the maximum with more effort and man hours than the common buisiness proffesional so don't think you are blazing an easy path. If you don't have the heart, courage, or knowledge to do this for a living don't let yourself convince you that you do as it is a 80+hr a week commitment, for those whom do succeeed a salud

You actually win with the horses....why do books offer rebates on those bets?

This is a good thread. Gambling should be like slangin dope, its some extra cash, if you do it right.
You guys that blow 1000s of dollars need to just relax. I mean the books don't want anyone to say this, but... do something else, and play $10 on a game here or there.

GC has it down $ is not everything and even should you be lucky enough to "win longterm" which 1/100 are was it really worth the time? I have been on one hustle or another since age 10 as my family came up from very little in their own and I just figured gambling would be my "play on life", This game is not a quck fix or get rich scheme and more than not you will lose in all reality horses are hard to beat ITH but it is more about beating your fellow bettor than "a book", similar to poker. i am not saying I will be a pro horse player or MLB bettor in my life time nor do I bank on this illusion but rather realize that I do enjoy thouroughly those activities win or lose and don't lose my mind playing either.
