The Patriots are putting the rest of the league on notice....that to be Super Bowl champion in '07 - '08 you will have to go through them.
Go Pats.

So the Raiders get a QB that can throw 80 yards and they get rid of Moss. The guy is an idiot but isn't it bass akwards to get rid of Moss now when you finally have a guy that can get him the long ball????

The Raiders are getting rid of a problem child BrentCrude. If you were a coach,GM,owner, and if Moss quits on you... Wouldn't you too try to move him? I know I would if the right trade came along.

Yeah, as a new coach coming in you want to take control of your team & locker room....and this was a good way to do it. Randy Moss was a virus for that team

as much as i hate the pats, i think this is a brilliant move for them. randy moss has never had a reason to buy into the system, in his mind, he was the system. now he is going to be on the team of the 2000's, with arguably the greatest qb ever...i think he'll buy in. i'm sure he'll have his "moments" along the way, but my guess is that he'll be a great team player. people forget that moss wasnt much of a problem until things went downhill in minny. even if he is a problem, the pats will just dump him - they don't care.

I heard last night that Randy Moss wants to win and that team is a good place for him to go to win thats for sure. If he gives them any headaches they will get rid of him in a heartbeat. I think he rest assured them that he wants to win and that is why Billacheck took him on.

Pats will never be stopped on offense, Moss never played for a great QB, he will dominate.

This is a great move for the Pats. The best WR's Brady has ever thrown to are Deion Branch and Troy Brown. Those guys are very nice receivers, but now he gets to throw to one of the best receivers ever!!! If Moss has anything left in the tank both he and Brady should put up some ridiculous numbers together.
Last Year the Pats had Caldwell, Gaffney and I don't even remember who else and almost made the superbowl. This year there is Moss, Stallworth and Welker. With as solid a defense as they have, they look virtually unbeatable. Maybe Belichick is going for a 19-0 season and then he'll retire.
I'd be surprised if New England is more than a 2:1 favorite to win the Super Bowl. Anybody got any updated odds for that yet?

Moss will do great in NE. He will follow suit like Cory Dillon did during Patriots' 3rd SB winning campaign. Moss wants to win a championship badly and now he can taste it he's so close.

Moss essentially had a no trade because of the large contract, he would not have agreed to restructure if where he didn't want to be, I assume he will work out a new contract with the Pats, I think he is at 8 figures this year
I REALLY like the fact the Colts took Anthony Gonzales from OSU, he is a perfect fit with manning and will be a stud from day 1. Hes a terrific player and the best Ohio State WR in the draft.
