Legends: Weekly Betting Roundup for November 2-8
Weekly Betting Roundup for November 2-8
    B. Sharps / Head Linesman / Legends

Another busy week is almost in the books; the house started out ok Monday night with Atlanta covering the game and the second half, and losing on the total and all live teasers, so bottom line it was small win for the house. The players also picked up a win on their favorite post season pitcher Cliff Lee. Tuesday wasn’t a big action game day; the house got the win with Bowling Green and gave most of it back on the total, although it was a small win overall.

Wednesday the Yankees and over were popular with the players as the Yanks won their 27th world title. Thursday there were three games on tap, the house picked up a big win with Miami Ohio staying close to Temple as a 17 point dog. The players weren’t too sure of Northern Illinois so their trouncing of Eastern Michigan wasn’t bad for the books. The game that caused the house a little grief was Virginia Tech landing on 13, the line bounced around during the week between 13 ½ and 12 but it wasn’t a disaster so another small win for the house. Friday, anytime Boise doesn’t cover is usually good for the house and this was no exception as Louisiana Tech kept it close and lost by 10.

Saturday was a huge day for the house taking down wins with Indiana, Navy, Tulane, Nebraska, Ohio State, Wake Forest, Arizona State, and Stanford to win most of the televised action. The players made some back with Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Clemson and North Carolina State but not nearly enough to offset the house’s big wins on the biggest action games of the day. The house was pretty split on the LSU / Alabama game so it didn’t make much difference who got the money there.

Now, for the day the house had been dreading all week, it went ok obviously and Green Bay losing was huge as it also knocked out some ten point teasers to go with the game decision. Atlanta was very bad for the house as the Redskins continue to stink. The players also correctly tabbed the Texans to cover, the house got a little back on the total of that game staying under. The house picked up a small win on the Bengals and the house broke about even on the Cardinals blow out of the Bears. In the late game, the Saints came storming back to put all the teasers in as did Seattle; Seattle’s was worse for the house though as they also covered the number by a point as the pitiful Lions disappeared in the second half again. The house picked up a much needed win on the Charger comeback and picked up a few bucks on the 49ers to make it a winning day for the house but nothing like Saturday as college this year has been much more profitable for the books.

Good luck players; talk to you next week!
