This brings up a very interesting question about online casinos...

ARE they scams or NOT?? Would be good to hear from a Mod here, although I'd hope that SBR's casino would be a little less scammy either way.

As Mudcat mentioned, playing with perfect strategy -- that is, always making the correct play according to the odds -- the house edge at blackjack is very small. It is there but it is only like 1%. (People give the house a bigger edge by being idiots, like being afraid to hit 16's even when they are most likely to lose to a 20.)

SO.... is it truly a random generator, which should afford plenty of opportunity to win? Or is it somehow "set up" for the house to win MORE than the 51% of the time it should win?

You can be sure no one at SBR would risk their job and reputation fooling with the casino games. The games are 100% random and fair according to the software provider. SBR needs to compare real holds versus theoretical holds. Or in layman terms SBR needs to publish what the games are designed to earn versus what they actually do earn. Its not a perfect science in the games that require skill but it is in games like slots and roulette.
