No Longer Gambling After Loss in the Family
My grandfather passed away two nights ago. He was 94. I am going to quit gambling to honor his memory.

Earlier this week though he was talking about how much he liked the Eagles so we are hitting them hard and then that will be it.

Sorry for your loss, mathdotcom. I can say that a death in the family or someone close can make you re-think a lot of things and it's noble of you to give up gambling. Voids of death and giving up something you've enjoyed are hard to fill - we're all still here to reach out to.

Hey Mathdotcom ,I know how tough it is to lose an old-timer like granddad .
However, unless you are an habitual loser at gambling,I would not quit on a spur of the moment !
I lost my favorite Granddad when was 92 .
He was caught in a house fire and breathed in too much smoke ,which eventually he succumbed to .
The man was tough and educated ,with a very low profile .
Losing these old one's that were born in a completely different world [he was born in 1887],you lose not just the individual ,you lose decade's of history that he represented .
