Read books on horse racing, even if you never bet on a race.

Other than that, there are probably less than ten books worth reading on sports betting.

            gamblersbook.com has a good selection.

Here I come to save the day........................

Forget anything that is suggested by Howard and the gang at GBC as the latest flavor of the month must read. I will give you a short list of books.

              NFL: Dan Gordon's book

              NCAA FB: Trace Fields' book

NFL/College FB: Scott Kellen's book (he was known as "Sixth Sense" when he would post in the various forums in the neighborhood back in the day).

Sportsbetting: Jerry Patterson's book (out of print) my personal all time favorite.
Was suggested to me by Scott Kellen. A guy/group won the rights to the book in a poker game a few years back. They reprinted it and shipped a batch of copies to the GBC. I ordered it first day they got it. Allegedly Patterson's family or legal reps stepped in to prevent the sale of it. But not before they shipped mine out. Scott Kellen considers this his favorite book also.

Exotics: A book called "Win More-Lose Less" by Dan (I can't remember to spell his last name). Great charts for Teaser players and Round Robin players.

Baseball: A book called "Without A Tout" I forgot the authors name. (I will come in and edit this thread if I remember). The book is written by a Bill James follower and I liked it better than the overrated Michael Murray baseball book that most people will try and steer you towards.

Industrty: the Roxy Roxborough book "Sportsbook Management" A little dated but a good read for what it is.

Bookies: The Wise Guys Bible by "Sonny" Daniels (out of print). Read it as a kid/teenager. Would love for it to be back in print for other youngsters to read

Later this week I will bump this thread and give you a few more good reads.
