Is it still your fault?
I have a mate who quit his job over a month ago and on his last shift he packed a wrong order for a customer - didn't put in one computer part because he had accidentally packed two parts in an earlier order. He didn't tell the boss and got the fvck out of there after it happened by quitting the day after. Customer has come in to complain three times now. Boss hasn't said anything to my mate. Boss says he's still investigating the matter.
My mate is shaken up by it. Thinks he'll get called up by his boss. I think no way you are held liable for sh*t once you throw in your uniform.
Thoughts?
Is he responsible for this? or has he washed his hands clean?
