Nah the franchise was ran into the ground by Isiah Thomas. Obviously it was never publicly said by management, but it's very obvious that this season and last season were throw-away seasons to clear cap space for 2010. Nothin' to do with D'antoni, Phil Jackson couldn't win with this team.

Haha that's what Im hoping for. But even if he doesn't we'll still get two very good players. This free-agent class will be one of the best ever.

They won't fire Dantoni. He is safe. The knicks are tanking this season to get ahead for next year. What really is disturbing is the lack of pride the players have. If you watched the last 2 minutes of the game friday night against Cavs you would have been disgusted. I honestly think the NBA needs to be investigated by the CIA. Lots of bullshit going on. Stern should be hung.
