Ya no racism. 20 years of listening to a racist
Barack Obama and Reverend Wright in happier times. Barack attended Wright’s church for 20 years. Oprah was also a member but quit after a short time because of Reverend Wright’s Anti-American, Anti-White rhetoric.
Quotes by Jeremiah Wright:
“Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty.”
“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”
Reporter recently asks Reverend Jeremiah Wright-have you spoken with him (Barack Obama) since he’s been in the White House?
Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s Response-Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he’ll talk to me in five years from now, when he’s a lame duck, or eight years, when he’s out of office.

#42The problem is this. Obama does not have the pull to get anything done. Congress just ignores him. The Democratic Party ships his tail off all over the world to get him out of Washington. He is a very inexperienced man who really has no clue. He made a ton of promises as a candidate and now must answer to America. He must explain why he pushed a package that he said would save the country from mass unemployemnt, only to see mass unemployment. He must explain why he pushed for a bailout package to save GM, only to see GM go under. He must explain his foreign policy, which seems to be very close, if not identical, to GWB's foreign policy.
Then he must explain some of his personal actions as President. He must explain why he bowed to the Emperor of Japan, when it is clearly understood that the President of the United States bows to no one. He must explain a lot of his personal actions. This is what he signed up for when he decided to run for President. This is what the people get when they vote for such a man. This is what Republicans get when they fail to nominate a viable candidate to run against him. A note to the GOP. Obama is now very beatable. Now is the time to find a candidate that will appeal to the people. The Extreme Right Wing of the party can not try to overrun the entire party, or face what the Democrats are going to face in next year's elections. People have to start drifting to the center. Clinton found this out very quickly. That is why he was able to survive his sexual trangressions.Comment -

#47The problem is it's always lesser of 2 evils. Moving forward all top level political positions should be volunteer basis only, and maybe we can get somewhere. This of course will never happen, but regardless of who is elected Republican or Democrat it always comes down to the lobbyists and who helped whom get in. Then they have to appeal to this person's (groups) needs, and it contradicts from the truth time after time. These political wackos in power always got some damn lobbyist in their ear. If people truly wanted these positions to represent the people and their future we would not have half the problems we have now today.
McCain was perceived too old and nominated someone even less qualified so that strategy of experience or lack there of went out the window. Out of all the people in this great land how the hell does it always end up down to a couple nut jobs. Well capitalism at its finest who can raise the most money winsComment -

As far a MCCain nominating someone less qualified? If you are referring to Palin being less qualified that Obama, then you need to research better because that is not true. Obama hasn't a clue as to what he's doing.

Neither has any explaination as to why Dumbya signed into law The Downpayment Initiative in 2003 which helped the poor buy homes by helping them with the downpayment. Nor how Dumbya did nothing when the SEC deregulated banking in 2004 which allowed banks to take on mountains of subprime debt. Or how he fired Fannie Mae's chief regulator for publishing reports criticizing Fannie Mae.
Those two nitwits still havent answered how the "liberals" bankrupted California when they've had a Republican governor since 2003 who slashed taxes (eg the very profitable Car Tax) and increased spending by 40%.

Amazing how brainwashed these neo-zombies are.
Seriously, am I the only one who hopes every president becomes great? Even Dumbya I had hoped would be great not the miserable failure he eventually became.
The greatness of the president equals the greatness of the nation and its citizens. Look at Clinton.... the longest economic growth in history occurred under his leadership; a record surplus; lowest unemployment; etc.
Whether you like Obama or not, he's our QB. If he fails, the team fails and we all suffer. People need to get their heads out of Rush's ass and support the man who has the nation's best interest at heart. Not like the idiot before him who put his own agenda & vendetta and the interests of his donors and cronies ahead of ours.Comment -

#59daggerkobe,
I am with you that the right has gone too far on this. I don't understand these fools either. I was listening to Alan Colmes radio program last night on fox news radio which he is a Democrat and these Republicans were coming in on the program and saying some terrible things about Obama when he just got the Nobel Peace Prize yesterday and Alan was saying that these guys will not give him credit for anything. These Republicans were the same Republicans that did give Reagan 3 years to get the economy back on track in the 1980's when things were not good during then. This situation that are having right now is much worse than back then and they don't want to give him time to get things back on track just because he is a Democrat and he is a black person. They have such an agenda and vendetta to make sure that he does not do well and I do think that is not going to work. I want to see the country get back in the right direction and I know Obama wants to see that also. I do think he is going to win in the next few years by getting this economy back on track and he needs help from just about everyone to do it.
He took over a huge mess and I thought that Bush put our country into such a tough situation that it is going to take a long time to get it straightened out and I wish that some would just give him some time and be patient which our country is not good at.Comment -

When unemployment hit 10% under Reagan, who did the neo-zombies blame? Carter, even though it occurred 2 years after Reagan became president.
When the recession began 3 months after Dumbya became president who did they blame? Clinton. But they blame Obama for the current mess even tho the Great Recession officially began Dec 2007 and cost 4 Million jobs a full year before he even entered office.

You are obviously of higher intelligence and it shows with your 100% accurate reporting.
You definitely are a role model when it comes to healthy debate and should have your own show on MSNBC or at least be a guest host for Bill Mahr when he's out spreading how horrible America is.

#68The problem is that politics has replaced common sense. The main goal of an elected official is to get reelected. Do not forget that. Do not think for one second that these people listen to their constituents unless the constituents happen to agree with their point of view. Then you will hear them flooding the airways with things like this: "Mr. Joe Blow of Who-Knows-Where California begs me to pass a health care bill. Mr. Blow states that he is too lazy to find a job, and cannot break his crack habit, so he need a government run health care program to help him when he O.D's." Or this: "Mr. Who Givesacrap of Red Neck Florida begs us to allow him to choose his own healthcare provider nad not let some dumb n***** tell me what doctor I must see."
When politicians actually look out for the good of the people, things will get done. Unfortunately those days are long gone. Without term limits, there is no time table set to get things done. If it does not get done in this term, I will push it again next term. The fact that a term for Senators is 6 years is totally ignored. There is no urgency in anything Congress does unless a disaster hits, be it economic, natural, or quasi-military, like 911.Comment -

#70Reagan never spent 12 trillion dollars in 10 months. You have no idea what McCain would have done and if it would have been worse, so don't pretend that you have some kind of magical powers to see the future.
If McCain started on a socialistic path to destroy America like Obama is doing, he would get as much, if not more, criticism than Obama is getting.
Obama made a good speech yesterday. Finally stopped apologizing to the world. I will give him credit when he deserves it. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much to praise him for.
I hope that he fires all his advisers, the socialist Czars and scraps all his socialistic agendas. If he does, I will jump on board and back him. I don't see it happening.
He should resign.
