No wonder they have a D- rating here at SBR.

Bombabet (SBR rating D-) ignores latest complaint of canceled winning wager. The bookmaker deleted the $1000 winner the day after the event and has been unwilling to justify the action to the player who has called and sent numerous emails.

They used to give a free $10 and had some really liberal moneyline underdog lines.I won a parlay with the $10 on Utah at +600 where other books were giving +220 and another team at +400 that other books were giving +180.They eventually paid me but it took 2 months.

I think this book is located in Spain. Not sure if the late Richie Valenz owns it but the name always reminds me of the song La Bamba.hehe!I heard that the Big Bopper and Buddy Holly were bookies too before they croaked.hehe!

        They publish their address as:

        PO Box 20483
        Lskosia, 2152 CYPRUS

Whether they mean Lefkosia (Nicosia) or something else is anybodies guess, but I would assume so as that's where the 2152 postal code refers to.

D- is a way too high rating for this cheater company...

When they opened their site, they offered no deposit bonus for all users. After a few months, they cancelled all winnings from this bonus for a LOT of countries, ALL Eastern Europe, without giving any further reason, just "security"....

          Avoid them at all costs....

I don't know where did I hear this, but I am pretty sure that they are an Israelian company, located in Cyprus...

and licensed in costa rica somehow.

the company is apparently owned by Honeychild, also located in cyprus, which also owns InterXGaming.

Looks like you are right noyb. Both are on the same server in Costa Rica. InterX started using Futurebet and are now "relaunching" with their book. It's a good bet it will look a lot like Bombabet.

I'm still curious though, since this case seems to have come with very little detail. How does the book justify cancelling the wager?, any other specifics? has SBR been able to help so far?

I handled the dispute. A player complained about a cancelled wager. They wouldn't tell the player why. I telephoned them, and could never get through. I wrote several emails, including my final "If you don't respond to this serious inquiry, terrible things will happen!" warning. They never responded.

I was surprised at their refusal to respond. On another dispute (when they cancelled a bet for reversing the home and away teams), I was able to at least discuss the issue with them... and ultimately agree that they were entitled to cancel that wager.
