In tough financial times the budgets of all college sports should be put under an auditing microscope for scrutiny to decide if they should get tax payer dollars.It's disgusting hearing this last week where the 3 gals that drown at tiny Dickinson State college in North Dakota were from places like California on full scholarships for softball.Why the hell should some local kid going to school there have to pay an extra $50 a year in tuition to support this stuff?College kids paying their own way should hold a tea party at every campus demanding that only break even or money making sports be allowed to give scholarships and pay much for coaching salaries.OK,so it's girls softball time coming up,put posters up around the college telling that there will be open tryouts for the team.
