You ignore my questions by commenting on how hopeless everyone else is and complaining about everyone else dodges questions. Then you post picture after picture (I don't want to include a number because your mom will finish explaining one to you and you'll post it while I type, then accuse me of not being able to count) without adding anything of value.
Here's your chance to actually say something, convince someone that Obama sucks, that it's all the Democrats fault, to not be hopeless and actually have an opinion you can defend and explain with facts. If you've spent half as much time reading and thinking as you have looking for Obama pictures you shouldn't have any problems.
What did congress do during that time that caused all these problems?
Can you give specific bills/policies that caused this?
Was it in their lack of action? Some mix of the two?Comment -

#39what has Obama done well in your opinion?
The fact is that I hear all the time, Bush did this and Bush did that. That was evident from the post I made earlier. You need to get over GWB, he is gone. No Mas. When ever someone disagrees with what Obama is doing, they are either a racist or it's Bush did that so what wrong with Obama doing that? What about what he should be doing? Or what you feel he is doing right?
He lifted the can on stem cell research. That is the ONE and ONLY thing in 9 months that I think he has done right.
My point was simple. Let's judge or criticize Obama for his performance. The Evil Socialist he is. Ya woo hooo let's give him a Nobel Peace Prize. Wait... they already did.
I actually left the common office area last week and went outside because I had a fart that I couldn't hold in any longer. I also should get a Nobel Peace prize. I did less to ruin America over the last 9 months and no prize?
The fact is, Obama is making things worse and it's only the tip of the iceberg. Anyone with half a brain can see a disaster coming, like none in the history of the USA. Once it hits, then I and others can say "I told you so". More and more government interference and control.
Obama's plan for America has never worked in the history or the planet and doesn't even work in certain States in his own country that supports his economic model. His plan for the USA is a disaster in the making and the longer he is allowed to be president, then more damage he will do.
2010 Elections will hopefully elect more republicans than ever before , thus making Obama virtually a lame Duck president for his last 2 years in office. Then we can start the process of getting a smart, responsible and ethical man or woman in the White House.Comment -

#40Question: What do you feel about the way Obama is spending the Stimulus monies?
Answer: They're going where they're supposed to: transportation, urban development, energy & water, homeland security, agriculture, assistance for the unemployed, etc. What is your problem with it?
Question: Following the California model of high taxes and out of control spending which has left the state bankrupt with no ending in sight. Why would the same plan for the rest of the country magically work?
Answer: When Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected Governor of California back in 2003, he promised to cut taxes and that's what he did. He eliminated the car tax which was a huge revenue for the state and other taxes. Then typical of a Republican, he increased spending by 40%!!!!! You can't spend money you don't have.... which led to the current crisis.
When will the neonitwits realize that cutting taxes and increased spending leads to huge deficits as evidenced by Reagan and Dumbya? Even Bush Sr realized he couldn't balance the budget without increasing taxes. Which is why he went back on his campaign promise to "read my lips, no new taxes."
Fact: If even the Democrats and including Bill Clinton admitted publicly Freddie and Fannie was a big reason as to why we are in this economic crisis and they should have done something about it sooner.
Response: There was nothing inherently wrong with Fannie Mae, which has been around since the 1930s. That is, until Dumbya got his grubby hands on it.
In 2000, due to a re-assessment of the housing market by HUD, anti-predatory lending rules were put into place that disallowed risky, high-cost loans from being credited toward affordable housing goals. In 2004, these rules were dropped and high-risk loans were again counted toward affordable housing goals.[11]
In 2002, President George W. Bush signed the Single-Family Affordable Housing Tax Credit Act. Dubbed "Renewing the Dream," the program would give nearly $2.4 billion in tax credits over the next five years to investors and builders who develop affordable single-family housing in distressed areas.
On December 16, 2003, President George W. Bush signed the American Dream Downpayment Act, a new program that provided grants to help home buyers with downpayment and closing costs. The act authorized $200 million dollars per year for the program for fiscal years 2004-2007.
President Bush also tripled the funding for organizations like Habitat for Humanity that help families help themselves become homeowners through 'sweat equity' and volunteerism in their communities. Substantially increasing, by at least $440 billion, the financial commitment made by the government-sponsored enterprises involved in the secondary mortgage market specifically targeted toward the minority market.

First, what exactly is Wikipedia?
Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that can be edited by anyone. Or, according to Wikipedia's introduction page:
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia written collaboratively by many of its readers. Lots of people are constantly improving Wikipedia, making thousands of changes an hour, all of which are recorded on article histories and recent changes. Inappropriate changes are usually removed quickly.

#53I am a business small business owner and I can tell you guys that things are tough right now and I see no end in sight. All I have to do is look around my area and see that many companies have gone out of business. There are empty buildings everywhere.
Not like past recessions, companies tend to lay off some employees and try to ride out the storm. But not this time. They are force to shutdown. To start a business from scratch requires much more capitals and is riskier. It takes time to to make a company profitable. On the other hand, an existing business can rehire and ramp up much easier.
What I am trying to say is that this recession will take much longer to recover because creating jobs won't be so easy as in the past.Comment -

Right. Because Youtube users are held to the highest standards of journalist integrity and are not allowed to edit videos or post clips out of context for their own hidden agenda.
Oh wait.... here's the long version of the Clinton video where he says the major contributing factor of the current crisis was the elimination of the "Uptick Rule." But since it didn't jive with the hidden agenda of the Youtube poster, he cut it out it.

So what legislation or regulation did Dumbya and the neocon controlled Congress pass? They were the majority and could pass any law they wished. #57Schwarzenegger did cut taxes. He campaigned on a pledge to roll back the vehicle license fee, or "car tax," which his predecessor, Gray Davis, had tripled. And on Schwarzenegger's first day in office, the new governor issued an executive order reducing the tax by two-thirds.
But controlling spending proved far more difficult, as, ironically, that first tax-cut order foretold. The car tax against which Schwarzenegger had railed, while controlled by the state, was actually a source of revenue for local governments. And so when Schwarzenegger reduced it, he also made good on a pledge to pay cities and counties what was then $4billion a year to make up for what they lost when he cut the car tax.
The state, however, did not have that money to spare, and the payments to cities and counties added to the deficit Schwarzenegger had vowed to eliminate. That obligation to local government has since grown to $6 billion – not coincidentally the same amount that would be raised by the sales tax increase Schwarzenegger now supports.

#59On December 16, 2003, President George W. Bush signed the American Dream Downpayment Act, a new program that provided grants to help home buyers with downpayment and closing costs. The act authorized $200 million dollars per year for the program for fiscal years 2004-2007.
The American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI) was signed into law on December 16, 2003. The American Dream Downpayment Assistance Act authorizes up to $200 million annually for fiscal years 2004 - 2007. ADDI will provide funds to all fifty states and to local participating jurisdictions that have a population of at least 150,000 or will receive an allocation of at least $50,000 under the ADDI formula. ADDI will be administered as a part of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, a formula grant program
Purpose
ADDI aims to increase the homeownership rate, especially among lower income and minority households, and to revitalize and stabilize communities. ADDI will help first-time homebuyers with the biggest hurdle to homeownership: downpayment and closing costs. The program was created to assist low-income first-time homebuyers in purchasing single-family homes by providing funds for downpayment, closing costs, and rehabilitation carried out in conjunction with the assisted home purchase.

I'm not saying you're wrong (you could be right), but you should actually be providing examples to back up your claims. If you can blame them, you should be able to explain why.
Liberal left-wing lunatics like DaggerKobe directly blame Bush for all of the above mentioned problems and have done so repeatedly when the fact remains that things were going just fine for the country prior to the 2006 mid-terms.
With the democrats having strong majorities in both houses of congress, the truth is Bush was a lame duck president for the last 2 years of his administration.
The recession that President Bush inherited from President Clinton really wasn't Clinton's fault just like the recession Obama inherited from President Bush really wasn't Bush's fault. Congress will always play a far bigger role over what happens to our country than the president ever will.
Take Obama's quest to socialize our medical care system. This is more important to him than anything else and he is having tons of trouble getting it done even though the democrats have strangleholds in both houses of congress.
The uninformed, uneducated people in our society always make the mistake of putting too much blame on the president and not enough blame on congress. I guess its easier to focus blame when you're dealing with 1 individual instead of 535.
Over and over again, republicans warned democrats like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd about the pending financial collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and they didn't want to hear it. Without a doubt, the democrats are far more to blame for the financial meltdown than the republicans. However, since the republicans did have congressional control along with the White House, they certainly deserve a good chunk of the blame as well.
DaggerKobe mentions several times about Bush's desire to increase home ownership to the middle class and poor as the cause of the financial meltdown. However, if a democrat was behind the measure, he would embrace it with open arms.
Our country is in debt up to our ears and everybody knows it. I agree with the democrats that taxes need to be raised but its not going to fly if Obama refuses to be fiscally responsible and he is burning through TRILLIONS of dollars and the amount of waste is staggering.
We need to put a freeze on all stimulus and wasteful government spending right now. Once that is accomplished, then Obama can bring up the issue of raising taxes.
Indecent, you strike me as a very reasonable individual who is able to neutrally evaluate both parties shortcomings. On the other hand, DaggerKobe is a worthless left-wing lunatic who will embrace Obama no matter how much damage he does to our country.Comment -

#70April 2001 - Start of Recession - Once again it appears you are trying to pin this on President Bush even though he was only in office for 2 months at the time. Just to see how crazy you really are, I would like to know who you believe deserves the blame for this, President Clinton or President Bush?
September 2001 - Would you like me to list all the warnings Clinton received during his 8 years as President of a possible attack by Al Qaida? Clinton had every chance to capture Osama bin Laden during his administration and failed to do so. As far as the possibility of preventing the 9/11 tragedy, liberal left-wing lunatic groups like the ACLU were protesting airport security profiling of young Muslim men right after the 9/11 attack so what are the chances this could have been accomplished BEFORE it?
October 2002 - 9/11 was the worst hit the U.S. took since Pearl Harbor so its certainly not surprising the dow tanked afterwards to 7528. What was surprising was the scope of the rebound taking the Dow to over 14,000 in only 4 years since hitting the 7528 low. Remember Bush controlled the White House and the republicans controlled congress during that entire 4 year period of huge stock gains. In contrast, when the democrats took over congress in 2006, the Dow plumetted from a high of over 14,000 down to a low of 6,500 in 2 short years.
March 2003 - The Iraq war. Democrats certainly had the chance to oppose the war as Bush took the matter to the senate and let them decide. 28 out of 41 senate democrats voted for the war including prominent democrats Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and John Edwards. When we caught Saddam in that bunker, support for the war was at an all time high and only the most zealous anti-war democrats stuck to their guns and opposed the war (BARACK OBAMA NOT INCLUDED). As far as your TRILLION dollar figure, Obama has already wasted over 2X that much.
2004- Risky lending. As I indicated previously, the democrats have been putting immense pressure on banks to lend to minorities and low income individuals since the days of Jimmy Carter. The democrats are FAR MORE RESPONSIBLE for the financial meltdown than the republicans especially considering the fact that republicans saw this disaster coming, alerted democrats to it with democrats like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd disagreeing.
Aug 2004 - Federal deficit hitting a record $395.8 BILLION. I agree with you that the republicans are 100% to blame for this as they had all the power at the time. Unlike yourself, I will gladly admit when my party acts like imbeciles and criticize them when they deserve it. With that being said, whats happened to the federal deficit in the 9 short months since Obama took office? Are you willing to blast your beloved President Obama and the imbeciles Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi for exploding the federal deficit far worse than Bush and the republicans ever did? I highly doubt it.
Aug 2006 - Gas price surpasses $3/gallon. DaggerKobe, you really make yourself look foolish when you try and pin the blame of rising gas prices on the President. By the way, gas prices sure did soar even more when your beloved democrats took over congress in 2006 and have soared once again since Obama has taken office. I won't blame the rising gas prices on Obama because I'm intelligent enough to understand that he has very little to do with it. However, in Obama's case, he might deserve more of the blame than other presidents because his reckless spending has severely weakened the dollar which has a lot to do with rising gas prices.Comment
