                                There were a lot of teams who big payrolls who were watching at home. Burnett was one of the pricier free agents and I don't think he was that big of a factor.

                                The Phillies got beat by Jeter, Rivera, Posada and Joba too...all home grown guys.

                                P.S. I'm a life long Dodger fan and HATE the Yankees.

                                        Mostly cubs and braves for me as a kid because of WGN and TBS, but mid 80's I turned to Dodgers for some reason and been a closet fan ever since.
