What Does SBRODDS Consensus Tell You
Here is what it looks like for the total on today's hockey game, NYI vs Buffalo

    TOTALS - OVER/UNDER
    11/03 11:13 – / – 5½ -115 / 5½ -105
    11/04 00:08 80% / 20% 5½ -105 / 5½ -115

The way I read it is this: 80% over and 20% under.

Just what exactly is that telling me? I know it comes from Five Dimes. Is it the consensus of expert handicappers? A select few handicappers? Or is it the total of all bets made on that total for that game--80% of the bets are on the over and 20% of the bets are on the under?

Or is it something else entirely?

    Thanks

If you want consensus reports, use somewhere other than sbr.

The consensus is showing the % bet on each line. The best way is to show % by side and break that down by odds change. Can't argue with PokerDummy. We will have a much better consensus breakdown next season.
