I don't see why he would be. He played last night. I took the LAL -2.

Why do you like the Lakers tonight? They lost by 30 points the last two times they visited Houston with a healthy Kobe and Gasol playing.

TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Houston battled Lakers last yer in playoffs and won games at home and Lakers had Gasol. I would not doubt Houston wins by 15 tonight. A huge square play is Lakers. Houston is very underrated.

Are you guys seriously comparing last year's Rockets to this years squad? I mean throw out the fact that one of their best players from last season is now ON the Lakers, they have no Yao or McGrady either. The Lakers are at least 2 points better than HOU on any court, imo.

Yao and McGrady didn't play when the Rockets beat the Lakers by 30 points in back to back home games.

Of course the line is moving the other way now so I'm probably fukked. Especially since it appears to be RLM. I still think the Lakers are at least 2 points better.

Looks like it's settling back in at 2. It's still 2.5 at MB, with a premium to buy the Rockets.

I'm not really handicapping lately. I look for a couple things. If I can get the line at better than the opener, and put myself in a position to beat the close I'm happy. I took DET +10 when I saw they were getting ready to go back down. Beat the opener by a full point and should beat the close by at least a half point. Took IND +5.5 in the same spot and beat the opener by 1.5 and am beating the current number by a half.

The Lakers were sitting at 0.5 point better than the open and about to move the other way so I took them. The line went up to 3.5 some places and then came crashing back down.

I have to also feel good about the bet and I do about this one, despite possible RLM.

If you really think the Lakers are going to lose by double digits, I don't think you should be betting on basketball. First of all Artest is on the Lakers now and is going to be fired up for this game, top that with Kobe remembering what happened in last year's playoffs and I think the Lakers win this one relatively easy.

Houston won't be able to put up enough points to stay with the Lakers. Don't let Houston's 3-1 record fool you, they beat Golden State (winless on the year) by 1 and lost to Portland (2-3) by nine. I know the Lakers have not played well this year yet, but definately expect them to win this game.

Let's not forget what Ron Artest said,

"Houston did me dirty. I can't wait til next year when we go to Houston. I'm not shooting. All defense. Somebody getting locked da f**k up."

Enough said. Bet big on the Lakers tonight and you will win big tonight.

Still don't like the line movement on this game. I love what I'm getting from DET and IND, but this one worries me.

lakers dominated thunder last year in okc .

if you think the rockets are easy then why did it take the lakers 7 games to beat them> the rockets are a very well coached team with big speed.

having said that the lakers could easily blow them out or vice versa

better team? they lost the game and were at home.

lakers without gasol would be 8 pt favs at home vs houston, and with gasol would be double digit favorites
