Let's face it, in most businesses the Mchale-Thomas level of incompetence (at a CEO level) would bankrupt a company long before these people would have a chance to carry on their charade for years. It's mind boggling to me that Mchale and Thomas are able to stay in their positions of power (Danny Ange is starting to reach this level too, imo).

IMHO, pro sports shouldn't be counted as the "real business world" because it's show business at it's heart.

In the case of Thomas, well... you just gotta know (cablevision) Dolan. This guy is probably the most obnoxious and incompetent slob in sports today. His absurd ego is now tied up with this clown- so It's Thomas for life.

No idea, other than many of these sports teams are handed down to the kids who just don't have a clue, but they also have enough money so it doesn't hurt them for losing.
