Pittsburgh was losing to Slippery Rock at halftime I think, and only won by 7 or so I think...
exhibition means nothing, Coaches trying to find out what they have in new frosh, and upper classmen don't care what happens in the game...
meanwhile this game is the superbowl to the opposing teams

Correct Archie. Kentucky lost an exhibition game a few years back, but that was back when they were allowed to play professional teams.
Losing to a division 2, division 3, or NAIA school is pretty bad, especially for a powerhouse like Syracuse.
No, there are no lines for these games. Hell, many conferences in NCAA Division 1 do not have lined games.

Alright thought it was a joke. That's incredibly embarrassing though. Even if you're still getting a feel for things, it's ****ing Lemoyne

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in these exhibition games. The coaches give the entire roster time in the game. They are evaluating the freshman to determine who to redshirt, they have had limited practice time. When you have a team like Syracuse that has several new players it may take a little time. A couple of years ago Michigan St. lost to Grand Valley St. and still went on to the sweet 16.
I also have taken a look to see how teams which lost an exhibition game fared in the first lined game and the results were right around .500.

Syracuse is way overrated at #25
They lost their 3 best players from an average team last year.

Syracuse will be a decent team that slips into the Big Dance at a 8-10 seed I think. They are my favorite college hoops team and have some talent, but they will be a work in progress.

It was an exhibition. Doesn't count to Syracuse, and they know it.

if anything this helps syracuse imo. gets their attention, motivates them a bit more.
syracuse might even present nice value to start the year because of this game. public could overreact to this loss
