Okay, so I didn't have much money on NO, I caught them at -10 on a live bet when they were tied 14-14.. but wow.. was this not the most rigged game of the season to date?? New Orleans Saints had the ball at 01:42 left, couldn't they have just taken a knee 4 times? or even 3? ATL only had one timeout... it made no sense, if they ran it down to like even 20 seconds left in the game, ATL would have given up knowing 2 scores is out of reach.. im not even bitter that I lost like all of 20 dollars, that was some shady shit. If I had put big money on the spread anywhere from -9 to -11 I would be going absolutely ballistic... I congratulate all the ATL backers however.. anyone want to weigh in here?

I couldn't agree more with you OPX. You must posistion yourself for moments like this. This kinda thing goes on all the time Monday Nite Football is usually a joke. Whatch some NBA this season. You must read these meassage boards thoroughly and get an idea where the public is. Now, I am not saying everone here is a square. There are many sharps here, but if you read some of these people you know they are what built Vegas. I will post my quote from another thread below, but you must ask yourself if everone wins who looses? Vegas??? How often does that happen. That game just looked to good to me to be real. Anytime you see a game that looks real good and you and your buddies like it. Bet the opposite and you will win more times than not. It took me a long time to learn this and quite abit of money. I don't have to know ZBOIX! Gambling is very hard to do successfully. VEGAS wasn't bulit by winners. The line looks to easy for me. Too much hype. Too convenient being on Monday Nite Football. I admit I know nothing about football or the AINTS, but I do know VEGAS and GAMBLERS. Do you think they are just gonna give away money tonite on that "easy game" It might cover, but odds are small it does because everone would win. ASK yourself the last time everybody one. I got my education in gambling betting on the Saints in spots just like this. What happened? it wasnt rigged please. falcons should have scored earlier when they picked ryan off on the goal line. elam missed 2 field goals 1 of which should of been automatic.if saints cover its not rigged but they fukk up and its rigged. bottom line is that you need to be on the right side of the fix if you think its going to be fixed. nba i buy it but not this.Comment -

The fact that Falcons had a timeout left probably scared them in to running a play. Would've been moot had Goodwin not gotten hurt, forcing Saints to use an injury timeout with 1:37 left.

This game just shows that the Saints are for real, Atlanta played super hard, gave it all, and NO could not match their intensity, Atlanta had no chance of winning the division if they had lost, but the Saints still won and almost covered.Comment -
How long you been playing games? I have been at it a little over 11 years. I am naturally the biggest looser out there. Brandon Lang status. People would make a ton of money off me just fading my picks. After about 6-7 years of reloading my account I finally learned something. I am not very good at picking winners or handicapping. So my formula is very easy now. Find the games I really like and what the other masses like a fade it hard. You got to ask yourself " Is Vegas dumb enough to post an enticing line out there on a Monday nite game on a team that has been scoring 40+ a game and beating there opponents by double digits with out knowing what is going to happen"? The answer is no. Vegas is very nice place to visit and nice because it is bulit on loosers. In my humble opinion that line look like a sucker line.Too easy. Remember it is never easy to make money in this fashion of gambling, but very hard. Now I know my opponents will say " they were a double digit favorite" so what who cares that only applies to the norm and the Saints are not the norm this year. You all make very good points, I could be totally wrong, it all just seemed a bit too convenient.. I did forget about the Injury timeout that saved ATL their timeout.. which probably heavily contributed into them rushing the ball... just a really bad play I suppose.Comment -
