Book Error: How long do they have to correct it?
I'm a newby. Have a quick question. How long do books reserve the right to go back in time to correct a grading error? It was one of those obscure prop bets. It is conceivable that there wasn't any player who was on the other side who bothered to check his account closely and catch the obvious error. Is there a policy in place as to how much time books can go back in time. TIA.

all books have different policies. if they graded the bet WRONG, then you have no right to complain if it took them a while to figure it out. if it took them that long to figure it out, then most likely no one had action on the other side - they would have called in to tell them to fix it, and the book would have no reason not to fix it immediatley. what book was it?

      Thanks.

      5d.

They offer tons of props and every so often, they make mistakes with the grading.

          That's a very good question.

There could be a situation where a bet was misgraded ( player misses it), goes on a huge run, then the book goes back looking for a reason not to pay.

I think there could be a standard ( from SBR) that a bet graded a win ( even in error) should stand after some period of time passes.

          Month ?
          6 months ?

Anybody ever find a winner graded a loser that was months old ?

          What happens then ?

When I used to deal with locals, after the week was done after Sunday and figures were given, that was the deadline.
