Maybe the rules need to be amended so that only sbrlines.com can be used because it's the only way to verify lines retrospectively.

In the end it may not matter b/c I will be in first with the passage of time.... except for the fact that it may be either BTJ or myself. Apparently he changed his style after first couple hundred picks.... and now he simply picks winners at usually sound prices... so if he continues, it will be between the 2 of us. I can see him continuing to climb. No reason why not if he continues what he's doing.

Tbone could lead but he is more selective. Around 70% but he does not pick often. Obviously his picks are hitting at a great clip.

I don't have a problem selecting from sbrlines. I have been in the best bet thread for yrs now and have always posted local. Alot of guys post from a local, I know there is no way to verify, but what am I going to get from cheating? This is something free not like I'm going to win anything. If you remember and you can look back to last december's best bet thread, I was down over 20 units. I have worked hard to climb all the way back up, and using dogs at that since I'm not even at .500. I have no reason to cheat, I'm not getting anything out of this, just post a play and move on to the next day.

I just think that since we ARE keeping score, the fair thing would be to post a line that is actually available to people who don't happen to live in your neighborhood.

I won't get into any of this bitch made drama discussion, but I will say this. SexyMit's lines from his local are always fair and I have no problem with him using them. That is all , you guys come up with the adjusted rules whom have problems with the current ones.

if 90 of his losses were not on the plus side and were -110 .... chip off 9.00 units

if 90 of his wins give him an extra .10 b/c it comes from a local .... another 9.00

u could argue it has accounted for a differential of 18.00 units to the good to his record.

I'm +28.02 w/ 33 losses.

Supposing 16 of my losses are -110 ..... give me 'local' cred of +1.60
Supposing 27 of my 54 wins were +.10 better on the dog side ......... give me 'local' cred of +2.70

So I'm +4.30 better ... or +32.32 instead of +28.02

I've only made 87 .... so in 174 days I'd potentially be at +64.64 instead of +56.04

As BTJ said they are always fair. I'm never trying to pull a fast one on anyone. So my local has better lines who cares. I will just go to 5dimes reduced juice and get better lines no big deal. I've been doing this for yrs being on this thread, and you are the only 1 whineing about it. I'm 10 games under 500 and +34 units who cares. Were are here to make money not whine about local lines!

I think we should all use local lines. I don't think jacking up the odds by 10 or 20c every bet matters. Lets do this starting tomorrow to see what part of the country has the best locals.
