    World Series Is Going 7
    1. MLB needs a 7th game bad, $$$$$$$

    2. These nitwits not named CC Sabathia cannot go on 3 days rest, Burnett gave up 6 runs in 2 innings and I say Pettite gets rocked too

It will go 7 games but has nothing to do with pitchers. Think of revenue from tickets sold as well as TV ad revenue.

Yanks shut them down game 6. Only Lee can win. No way Petitite loses at home.

New York is going to fry Girardi if they lose game 6.

I understand throwing CC on short rest, he is a friggin horse. But Petite and Burnett aren't the same type of pitcher.

If the Phillies get any kind of pitching from Pedro tomorrow night, they should win.

Game 7, all bets are off.

I don't care if it goes 6 or 7, no way Yanks lose this series.

                                But I don't see it going 7.

Bobby Sandles must be upset at his team

MLB does not need a Game 7 "bad". Rating for the World Series are higher than in years past, MLB is rolling in money (attendance is at an all time high).

A game 7 would be gravy for them but saying they need it bad is just uninformed.

MLB and Fox are loving this. They are getting better numbers than they have seen in years.

MLB does need game 7 bad. Their attendance was down 7% from last year with many clubs offering discounted tickets. Popularity among new fans, 18 and under, is dropping faster than Brittney Spears panties. Baseball is lucky to make the top 5 sports among them. Fitch Ratings downgraded MLB's securities to A- this year.

Selig and co are singing "everything is going to be alright", but you know all they want for Christmas is a game 7 finale.

The Bombers almost took it last night (anyone watch the ninth?) even on a half ass lineup (with Lee starting). Pedro is going to get crucified and the Yankees will win convincingly. We LIONS are very heavy on the Yankees in Game 6. They will throw the full lineup (with DH) at the Phils and take yet another ring for the greatest organization in the history of professional sports.

I see Yankees winning because there is no other games on Wednesday night either. If they play on Thursday there is plenty of college football on that night. I think the Yankees get the deal done on Wednesday.

Game 4 highest-rated World Series game in 5 years
                                                  (AP) – 18 hours ago

NEW YORK — Sunday night's Game 4 was the highest-rated World Series game in five years.

The Yankees' 7-4 win over the Phillies drew a 13.5 fast national rating and 22 share on Fox. That's up 45 percent from last year's Phillies-Rays Game 4.

Fox said Monday it's the best rating for a non-decisive Game 4 since a 13.6/23 for a 12-inning Yankees-Marlins game in 2003. It's also the best rating for any World Series game since 2004 when the Red Sox finished their four-game sweep of the Cardinals to end their 86-year championship drought.

The rating is the percentage of households with televisions tuned to a program. The share is the percentage of homes watching among those with TVs in use at the time.
