Just the normal "aw shucks" fake modesty and humility.
Go give Ed Werder another reach-around Brett.

Maybe the Packers shouldn't have been retarded and let him go...

Could care less...not a Packer fan. Favre is all that is wrong with sports masquerading as a good guy.

So it's wrong for athletes who can still compete to want to play? His leadership is invaluable to the Vikings right now.

Bad Nina, the guy no doubt is one of the greatest QB's of all-time! His attitude as he has gotten older is making him seem to me as a hugh attention whore? Example in yesterday's game. GBay receiver on Minny sideline dives for ball and clearly doesn't catch it. Favre right there dramatically starts waving his arms giving the no catch signal like nobody saw it! Then he gives Jennings the bedside treatment being concerned if he's injured! The guy always knows when the red light on the camera is on!

Is Favre high maintaince? Absolutely! But so are a lot of QB's and I won't even get into discussing WR's (TO, Chad, etc.)

Along with about a dozen other guys on the Vikings sidelines...

Jennings and Favre are good friends. When Brett realized his friend was injured, he showed concern for his friend.
Don't be a hater. Just realize you're seeing one of the best QB's in the history of the NFL and appreciate him for as long as he plays...

Yea Doc you're probably right, just probably too much old school and not wanting to see what the majority of pro athletes have become! Good point buddy!

There have been a lot of players who wanted to play after their main teams let them go. Montana. Emmett Smith. To name a couple. The only difference is Brett went with the Jets for a year so he could get to where he wanted to go the whole time and now is riding high.

Nina, another good point there! GBay broke his stones and didn't let him go last year to Minny, but didn't want him themselves! Nina, love all your avatars, but don't ever retire you backside/front door avatar!
