He is very good. Looked great against Indy last week also. I was impressed as he put a lot of effort in even when the game looked grim.

I sure wish my bungals would have drafted him when they had the chance.

He's not the best, but he gets credit for always giving 110% for an atrocious team.

jackson is like correy dillon. Hard worker who produced on a consistently failing team. I was glad to see correy get off the bungals and go get himself a ring.

He's in the top 5 no doubt, but Adrian Peterson is by the best RB in the NFL by a mile...

                              1. AD

                              2. MJD

                              3. Jackson

I don't think he is the best and I am from the St. Louis area. I think there is better running backs. If he had a line though he would be even better though. He is very talented but he is known around here as a jerk though.

Best back in the league by far. 2nd in the league in yards from scrimmage on a terrible team. That says it all right there.

tblues, being from Stlouis you sure dont have a clue.

He forced Marshall Faulk into retirement while he was his backup. Not the best runner, but good. Rams are just not good at all.

AP runs behind a great Oline and opposing teams have to actually worry about the pass attack of the vikings, jackson doesnt have a good OL or any pass game to supplement him.

AD is overrated...maybe not by too much...he's no way the "best to ever play" at his position...Barry Sanders is easily a much better RB than AD will ever be...I'm not trying to put down AD...more so praise B-San...I am a Packer fan, and wow...I hated/loved Barry Sanders...loved him when he wasn't playing us, hated him when he was...so good. AD is a great player, but AD makes most of his big runs on cut backs, that's all. Barry Sanders made most of his runs wherever he wanted to go.
As for SJ...he is incredible, and I love seeing a guy of his talent keep his mouth shut on a pitiful team...they are clearly re-building, and it's too bad he may not get the chance to win with the Rams for a while...too bad for him. He moves up a peg just for his attitude and work ethic on this garbage team...can you imagine if Larry Johnson was on that team...ohhh wait, he basically is...how's that going!?
You gotta love a guy like SJ...great worker, great player...I hope he wins eventually. I'd rank the best backs in the league like this...
                                            1) AD
                                            2) DW
                                            3) SJ
                                            4) CJ
