Had a small play on Boise. Yeah I have no idea why they did that but I'll take it, had a much bigger play on Indiana however so I'm still hurtin.

If with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

Because they hope some junior associate AD will look at Boise St margin of victory and hopefully vote them a few spots higher in the coaches poll, which could influence the BCS standings at the end of the year.

Because the purpose of the game is to score points. Why do they score with an empty net in hockey? Why do they score with an empty goal in soccer? Why do they score a layup with 10 seconds left on a breakaway in basketball? If San Jose St wanted to stop them they could have. My guess is some San Jose St players had big money on their team to not cover the spread.

That is so not the same.
The point of Boise running straight ahead was to run up the score. If the take a knee, the clock runs out.

And why didn't San Jose St play defense to prevent the score if they were betting money on their team to cover? Don't be so naive. Somebody has to pay for the strippers at the party.
